Does anyone else hate their bday?

I don't hate it... but I sometimes found it very annoying... maybe because a certain family member would start making demands to do social things for the birthday... and I'm an introvert, and I might be very busy at that time.

While in college (I went to a local college) is a great example... I'm not sure why, but based on how classes were set up, there was ALWAYS some major exams/test around my birthday, and I would want to sleep and prepare for them...

Not be forced in some social engagement that I didn't want to be at in the first place ... but since it was my birthday, they would NOT stop, until I did it...

I'm really not a fan. There are just too many unknowns. You may get contacted by people you haven't heard from in a while, which was usually for good reasons. It's a normal day that just can feel overwhelming, so I often just stay in my room or go out by myself, so at least I have a little control over it.

Yes and no. A friend of mines dad used to say...it's another year closer to the box. It's just another day to me. I might splurge on some top shelf booze but I don't treat it any differently than any other day

I really do. I would like to not though. So I need to make a better plan for next you and let me know that its ok to not hate life that day.

Yes i got shorted on Christmas gifts and started school late because of it.

I don't hate it because of my age.

I dislike it because its like a bad omen for me. something bad always happens. been that way since I was a child.

I hated it growing up. It was the first day of school usually.
