I go chop wood
Deep breathes. Slow down. Take space and time to yourself. Calm music venting the feelings and freustrations and when ready, be vulnerable to someone you trust.

@Queendragonfly Yes, talking through with a trusted friend may help.

Breathe slowly.
Move on to something else quickly.
Don’t dwell on it.

@SW-User Ahh. Can't. Tied by blood.
Pain in the ass kind of relationship but no choice but to solve shits. lol
And thing is, I can. That's the thing. I know I can always solve things. I just wish I won't have to.

@SW-User It's a good thing you grew up then. But I'm sure you learned not to cause the same pain they gave to your kids. So, in a way, the painful past is a blessing to the future gen.

1. Drink water or deep breathe
2. Take Shower
3. Meditate
4. Learn to forget & forgive
5. Remember you have a very short life to spend time wasting fighting within yourself. Look what is most important to do in your life right now.

General do something that requires 100% focus or die. Yea throwing self preservation out the window at 130mph knowing you could become a red smear down the highway clears your head pretty quickly.

I used to build a small contained fire outside then sit and watched it. - it worked well for getting rid of built up anger. I won't be able to do that at our new place so I guess I will have to find a new way . Cheers!

@Casheyane Mine to now. I had serious anger issues desensitised by EMDR. I never wanted to hurt anyone else although i have in self defence. But hurt myself thinking i at minimum deserved to be burned or things like the above. Nuts i know. Thankfully im constantly searching to be better.

Moving out of that place immediately where I can feel the pressure in my brain.

A cold dip or shower. The fastest anger dispeller available out there.

Hit things, throw things, yell at the sky. Then take some breathes and forget about it.

I mostly talk to myself cursing that person for 5-10 mins, usually sleeping calms me down
