What's the first thing you think when someone says "Just be yourself"

Apparently you should never be yourself at work, as it has an adverse affect on teams performance, some studies suggest that at work we should be professional, and at our best game...imagine surgeon who wanted to be him or herself during a surgery while the patient is cut open? hmhmhm lol
