My 20’s are a blur because I was busy becoming a mom to three. Even my 30’s are a bit hazy due to being a working mom fighting depression. The most memories I have are of my 40’s when the kids were less reliant on me and I decided to quit working. Had a lot of days to work on myself and shift some things within.

Relive your past and you'll remember more.
How? Write and rewrite it.
My memorial post on influential women in my life was rewritten many times. With many additions over years.

Oh yes. I think it’s not about brain function but about what the brain is concentrating on. When my kids were little I hardly ever listened to new music or saw a non-children’s movie. So my recollection of cultural events in those years is rather poor.

Sure we all have them. Like I keep looking back on first years of school where everyone carried marbles, Chinese Jump rope and regular rope for Double Dutch jump rope.
You know I always wonder if I still could Double Dutch at my age today 😊😊

I remember my childhood vividly, my 20s were a blur., lots of cocaine and alcohol did that. 30s and 40s are clear but now I forget what I had for dinner the night before.

@FreeSpirit1 I started taking Lions Mane for short term memory 😊

I have the most memories of my teens years which were pretty rough for me unfortunately, but I can remember stuff all the back to the age of 4.

Yes, that’s definitely relatable. I have more superficial memories about my twenties than my childhood. The latter, surprisingly, I can remember in detail.

Similar to POH, my 20's were a complete blur....but for different reasons.

I remember so much from my early childhood and after that it begins to fade

The years I was primarily focused on career have far less lasting memories.

Probably.. people tend to remember unusual things more often than not
