Are there some years or decades of your life that you have more memories of and some that you have less memories of?

I was just looking back and I have a lot of memories from my childhood all the way through to my late 30s but I have less memories of my 40s. It’s probably because my 40s were my busiest time in my life.

I can remember conversations verbatim from my teens, 20's and 30's. 40's and fifties have few outstanding memories except a few vacations and girlfriends and alot of work
