Are there some years or decades of your life that you have more memories of and some that you have less memories of?

I was just looking back and I have a lot of memories from my childhood all the way through to my late 30s but I have less memories of my 40s. It’s probably because my 40s were my busiest time in my life.

Have you experienced this?

Having only completed three decades I suppose this is a much easier question for me to answer than some. It would be my first decade with which I have the least familiarity. Most of my "memories" for that decade are of things about which I was told or that I've seen in pictures and videos. :)
