Just the other day, I saw two women out walking without their red cloaks. And Goody Margaret, just after having her 14th little one, had the temerity to get all high-falutin' dressy and parade around town with her family.

And the young ones, parading around with all that self-confidence and insight, all ready at the drop of a hat to go off meetin' people and livin' and enjoying the same freedoms as men. Thinking their in charge of their futures.

What we need is a council of men, mostly old and definitely white, to help mansplain the world for us and keep us safe through penalty and oppression. It's for our own good, after all. We'll let them make all kinds of laws and it won't matter whether they make sense 'cause they'll be especially for us womenfolk. You know, to keep us where we belong.

No, most LGBT rights activists & feminists aren't gender abolitionists, and honestly gender abolitionists have some pretty good points. I'm not one, but the concepts of femininity & masculinity can really confine people and sway them to do things they don't need or want, or prevent them from getting things they do need or want. It would be pretty cool if we could loosen those restrictions, but I don't think it makes sense to fully abolish gender, since it semi-naturally arises from sex.

And they're not necessarily part of the LGBTQ+ community, not unless they're gay.

Women are still women. Straight ones look gay, gays look straight, some have social justice on their agenda, others cheerleading competitions. They come in all sizes, color, shapes, intellects and quirks, which is what makes them so great.

If you've got any "concept" of womanhood at all, I promise you're wrong.

There is no single, monolithic, concept of womanhood. Some peoples' perceptions of feminity is toxic and damaging to women. These need to be challenged and changed.

A concept is a very fluid idea. It's meant to be changed.

I am completely in support of the LGBQT community. More than ever before hearing what the US states are allowed to do.

I never understood why the T in the community is linked with the L, B and G. LGB want sex with same sex. T want to be the other sex. Totally different. Just lump together the misfits?

And what is a "proactive feminist"? Is it a feminist who is a feminist before, say, Trump "grabs her by the pussy"? Or before her male office colleagues smack her ass? Or before her boss requires her to be sexually available to him as a condition of employment?

Bi-sexual and lesbian women are still women, and the first category have some level of interest in men (though possibly not you, but whatever their interest, it is their preference, not yours).

As for actual transsexuals (not transvestites, which is more on the order of cosplay), if you want to only have a relationship with a woman who was born a "typical", XX woman...I'm sure you'll find them.

But I would think that allowing people to let you know, up front, how they identify would actually help clarify who was what, which was not true, not that long ago. It clarifies this for everyone.

And after the current furor dies down, it's my personal belief that the numbers of people identifying in non-traditional categories settles down to whatever their steady-state values will be.
