Eh, Otherkin is kinda strange but they're not really harming anyone if that's who you're talking about. I don't see how it's inappropriate for children. We show our kids TV shows with anthropomorphized animals all the time, but it's suddenly supposed to be weird when they self-identify with them?

I honestly don't really think about it .

I mean, I care that everyone is treated with respect, but other than that - we are all human. How someone identifies is no biggie to me as long as they don't berate me for getting it wrong.

I don't give a shit about gender - I've used a man's bathroom when the line to the ladies was too long. And although I'd be surprised if a man used the ladies, if he was being courteous - I wouldn't care.

I think we are at that midpoint in a cause where it's all inflamed and everyone is ruffled .
But that's how change happens.

One day ....it won't be a 'thing' anymore, and so I try not to make a thing now .

I can agree that actually alteration should be delayed until adulthood with some exceptions. However if you identify as something that's u be u. Ppl often know they are gay in there younger years for example. But they shouldn't Identify that way. Idk. Is that one of the letters u like? The whole pronoun thing is counterproductive for sure it really just gives ppl. An excuse to be "butt hurt" so to speak.

Quiet as it’s kept, there are [b]members[/b] of the community itself who don’t understand some other letters.

The other night I asked a good friend what she thought about how things are now in that regard.

This friend who in 2015, finally married the woman who’s been her partner since 1979, replied, "I’m sorry, if you have a [b]penis[/b], you’re not a woman !"

I figured it wasn’t for me to comment one way or the other, I also have trans friends, but she’s not the first lesbian I’ve heard say that.

Most people who are trans are adults or wait until adulthood to transition. The way I see it, we only have one life and if being perceived as a different gender makes them happy, then go for it. People get bent out of shape too easily about things that have nothing to do with them.

I’m surprised they still keep Bis, as it implies only two genders, while they claim there are infinite genders. Actually, on deeper thought, gay implies a man who likes men, and lesbian implies women who like women, so still two genders. The LGBs need their own designation. I think they have done that already in the UK.
