Is it okay to like some of the letters of LGBTQ but not all of them?

In my opinion you can love who you want to love but identifying as something you are not is counterproductive, and should not be allowed under the age of minority on the grounds that children are not of sound mind legally speaking.

It’s interesting that people think children should be held accountable for crimes because “they know what they’re doing” but don’t think they can decide who they want to be because “they’re not of sound mind”
@SW-User Playing Devil's advocate: in those cases of minors committing crimes they are making bad decisions so at best this comparison only highlights that minors could be making a bad decision by transitioning.

@Pikachu it demonstrates that as they are legally responsible and held accountable for their actions they have been judged to know what they are doing. That was the comparison. Everyone is capable of making bad decisions 🙄
@SW-User

Well sure. If they're grown up enough to be accountable for their criminal actions because they understand what they're doing then they understand what they're doing in transitioning.
It's just that those will both be considered bad decisions and so i'm not sure how that helps the case in any way?
SW-User
@Pikachu because the original post claims that children are not able to make such decisions
@SW-User

But isn't that just another way of saying that children can't be relied upon to make good decisions with thought to the future consequences?
SW-User
@Pikachu not at all, quite the opposite. The reason they are held accountable is because they are judged to know the difference between right or wrong and to understand the consequences. The same as adults

Ok
