Actually a relative too. I just don't normally think of them in that way. They are just my relative that I love.

I used to have a pen-friend who had no qualms at all about using the term "homosexual" as he was, and also avoided the "Gay Pride" types. I think he thought them rather vain.

Having mild bisexual leanings myself does not make me think myself therefore somehow "special". I am just a person.

Of my wide circles of friends of both sexes, all but those few other bisexuals are to the best of my knowledge, heterosexual. Many are married. They too, are all just people.

I've got a lot of gay friends but, in all honesty, most don't really don't connect with the "Movement." They're just men and women who live their lives. Their sexuality is pretty inconsequential to who they are. I'd like to think that's the goal.

Maybe. Likely in fact. I generally don't inquire on one's sexual status before engaging. People are people regardless of their preferences in or out of the bedroom.
