Why are Republicans defending the killing of Alex Pretti?

The heart of the matter is that Alex Pretti represents their political enemies and ICE's actions are something they support and want to see more of. Pretti was trying to stop ICE from doing what they were trying to do, therefore he deserved whatever happened to him.

Frame-by-frame analysis of the shooting doesn't matter to them, and frankly it doesn't really matter to me either. Even if Pretti had not been disarmed, the shooting would not have been justified since ICE should not be there in the first place and they shouldn't be shooting anyone.

(1) There was no riot, no protest, just a group of observers with cameras.

I'm still undecided on the matter until theres facts.
It may have very well been wrong, and may not.
I'm still trying to figure out the basic question.

The same reason why back when I needed help and to talk about the oppression I was facing as an ex muslim, I often had to deal with democrats trying to silence me.

People do not like nuances that challenge their narratives. They want to cling to delusional certainties and binary thinking.

Mostly because they are watching fabricated and doctored video that agrees with the administration lies and haven't decided to see the alternative videos, believing them to be lies. They aren't questioning what they are being told or bothering to look at other sources that have actual information because they are convinced everyone but the administration lies.

It's confusing if you aren't seeing what they are being shown and how it's being presented. They truly do think anyone who thinks the video they see is propaganda are the actual perpetrators of said propaganda.

Because the Dems are demanding body cams and no masks, not respect for human rights and an end to armed ICE agents.
Opposition that's ineffective will have to do! We're not capable of independent or third party politics. It's only going to get worse! We're powerless when we're getting it DONE! and pretending not to!

Dems, too - remember how you all together bipartisanly want illegals removed because they're dangerous violent criminals? Well, together you said it, together you believe it and you're creating violence therefore! Lies bring violence. They're not going away! Truth doesn't help. ICE is here to stay.
Without a left in politics USA is a vicious killer. Okay? Because y'all don't stop and you get full credit for the results!!!

They have been told how to respond by their leader. There is no rational justification for the killing.

Team before principles

It's really the same reason they are defending aligning with Russia, now no longer being concerned about the trampling of the 2nd Amendment by government agents, expressing only mild aversion to betraying allies, refusing to confess they know that you can't reduce prices of anything by 600%, and literally giving up on America's standing in the world. They (falsely) believe some petty fat slob with the grievances of a teenager and a failing 3rd marriage with kids who fear his wrath will reward them for their servitude. That's it. That is the sum total of their calculation.

Republicans have invested their entire political legitimacy in Donald Trump and MAGA. They cannot allow anything he sanctions to be viewed as a failure.
