What kind of person only lives on their own posts?

One with very low SW site reputation.

Sometimes I think the algorithm awards reputation mostly on comments and replies rather than on posts.

Low reputation, low number of posts on your feed and other site privileges.

And so they complain of no posts on their own feeds and limits to the number of images they can post.

Yeah you can only make so many posts within a certain time frame before exceeding your own reputation. No limits apply to comments or replies.

I've had some like that before. I'll comment on their posts and they'll add me only to never comment on anything I post. Probably thought they were being nice so I'd see them more prominently in my feed. I could see prettybrat making a power move like that.

I suspect it’s someone who thinks this world is a stage, with them the only star.

At least in the early days some people just used their account to express their own thoughts.
