@redredred the English ended slavery by voting, before the US civil war. But nobody thinks voting would help you avoid war! We understand how proud you are of that civil war. Reenacting but not reviewing it constantly.

@Roundandroundwego I’m fairly sure there’s a point to your comment but I cannot see it. Contained in the very name of the country you can see that it is and was the United STATES. Since we have no national plebiscite, all the votes in Massachusetts wouldn’t have affected Mississippi in the least.
