If you became very wealthy suddenly what are the first two things you would buy?

Two pieces of property. One piece would be in Colorado or someplace to please my art loving, non-hunting son and his family. A second piece with a good population of deer and other game for my outdoorsy daughter's family. I could visit both.

id hire a professional trainer to help with my anxious dog and not to be that guy but id donate to charity as well

Assuming it’s enough to retire on, I’d sell the two houses we have and buy one on Nantucket and another in the South. I don’t know where though.

I don't drink or smoke and women ignore me so I've got that going for me.

Add a solar hot water heater and tiles to the place in the philippines. Probably a bigger stove too.
If it was a lot of money I'd probably build some other nicer houses there too. Probably central air for my place up north.

Homes for the two homeless ladies who shelter outside my office building.

My window was quick. Buy a new house, sell the old and move. I did it in two months and everything is paid off. I'll never do that again.

A beach house in the town in CT where I grew up and the most comfortable SUV or Van to drive cross country.

Idealistically, I'd give a good chunk of that wealth to my parents for them to pay off their debts.

Then use the rest of that wealth to fund many of my personal interests.

But realistically for that to happen I'd have to be extremely wealthy, which at present, I am not.

Haha just bought my first ever lotto ticket with some prodding. If i win. I'm traveling after buying tickets and luggage

And then get an appropriate vehicle to tow the trailer for my wife's horse.
Then, charities.
First things first.

I'd pay debts and set myself up for life and then my family.

An accountant and a nice dinner.

Property somewhere warm all year round and support charities that are doing good work

A nice catamaran. Then I'd take off on it.

I need a new car, so that.

Vacation house and a pool.

On tour. Worldwide

I would build nonprofit organizations.

More trips

A passport and a one way ticket...

Storage unit and a larger travel bag

The services of a top flight Accountant and a good Lawyer.🙂

Probably a home and then stocks or gold so that way the value would grow 🤔
