@skmokisses It's because consumers/we get used to how a store is "set", so changing it up forces them/us to actually notice their stock again as we relearn where our standard purchase items are kept.

The one good thing about grocery stores is that they are unlikely to move the specialized departments around the edge--dairy/frozen; deli; meat; fresh produce--and even if they DO, they are usually easy to spot and it can be easy to find. [Caveat: I had a local grocery move the shelves where the pre-packaged meat was kept...a minor annoyance, but WHY?! 😉]

All other areas are up for grabs--cereal? Used to be aisle 2; now, who knows? Soups/baking supplies--used to be aisle 5/6--now it's storage and cleaning. lol
