Something does!

All I can be sure in my home it's not the dryer as I don't have one.

I've about six different socks hanging over a rail, all hoping I will find their lost partners.

I finally counted and had 10 "old maids" in my sock drawer. I got every sock I could find, washed and dried them, re-matched every one that had a mate, and still ended up with 5 strays. I blame aliens who are in their flying saucers, wondering why their socks don't match.

I've lived on my own for 20 years, and never lost a sock somehow 🤔


Then again, I don't have a drier.

Usually a sock or two are statically connected to something else, like a fitted sheet, or down the leg of a pair of pants.
Sometimes they are stuck inside the washer or dryer and don't fall down when you spin it, you have to reach hand way in to find it.
Other times a sock is disintegrated by aliens far up in space and they watch your reaction for a good chuckle.

I only wear socks in the Winter when there is snow and ice and have to wear my boots.

Mine go missing on the journey from the washing machine to the clothes line 😬

Im the opposite i always have one extra

Mine magically disappears from my drawer 😂😂
