Do you and your partner have code speak for “This party is crap, let’s go home. Bottle of wine and a take away.”

Or do you just persevere?
SW-User
I had to leave separately because he was expected to stay ..I don't like parties
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
"The baby sitter just called... she's not feeling well and has to go home."
Slade · 56-60, M
@Thinkerbell of course not. Just trying to add to the absurdity.

Besides Pics and Embarassing go together!
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@Slade

I don't mind if you blackmail Pics. 😂
Slade · 56-60, M

We have kids! An instant excuse. We have only ditched out of few parties over the years.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
No, my wife normally tells the host that it's a crap party and then we leave. We don't get invited to many parties, thank goodness 🤣
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
We only go to good parties :)
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
We don't go to parties 💁🏻‍♀️

I think groupthink kills the soul.
Everything else is just aesthetic. (the booze, the food, etc)
I think it's wise to avoid congregations.
Reclusivity is a superpower.
People usually just socialise to talk about themselves, or find ways to feel better anyway.
It's an oddly selfish act of selflessness.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@LushMagic Do you care to elaborate, or do you often just dismiss the world with such rude, shallow, narcissistic, gas-lighting assessments?
Because I can show you at least 3 renowned psychologists/philosophers who would agree with my statement. I don't think deeming things as "weird" really constitutes as an opinion worth sharing.
LushMagic · 46-50, F
@SnailTeeth Then why ask?
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@LushMagic Are you being ironically facetious?
Goodlatch · 61-69, M
We learned early on; unless we really know the people the rule is leave the cooler in the car. Makes for an easy and discrete escape.
We know what the other is thinking. We’ve been together for too long not to read body language and mannerisms.
PhilDeep · 51-55, M
What's a partner and are any deals going for one on Amazon today?! 🤔
KarenDuponteDurose · 46-50, F
We do, actually....

Just a little eye movement....that's all it is.
QCDog2659 · 61-69, M
I was just forced to bite my tongue and tolerate it.

Seen a few couples use one at our own "do's".

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
I don't need a code. I feel like this any time I find myself at a party. I immediately start looking for a way to exit after (making the mistake of) entering.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Its the let's get out of here look lol works everytime. Normally a shifty eye to the door lol
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
I don't recall the last party I went to, much less have a partner to go to any.
She just knows what I'm thinking and I her. Scary sometimes!
2ndtimeguy · 61-69, M

pdockal · 56-60, M
Nope we are just blunt with each other without alerting others
WillaKissing · 56-60
