Tell me about the country you live in.

Im assuming, people from all over the world are on here.
So tell me one thing you like about where you live.
I’ll start, surprisingly I actually like the dreary British weather

I started to respond but then realized that most of my country's (Canada's) reputation and my perception of it are largely a mixture of nationalist propaganda and wishful thinking. Still I love it. One thing? The geography & landscapes would be a good place to start. That, the multi-ethic population and the extent to which they try to live up to the reputation.

Edit: Multi-ethic - Freudian slip? Of course I (consciously) meant 'multi-ethnic'.

Canada has such a diverse geography and population. In my lifetime I have observed many changes in the communities I have lived and greater acceptance of other cultures. Canada is in a desperate need for people to replace its aging population. If you want to experience cold travel to the wonderful northern communities and if you want warmth experience Vancouver Island or the eastern provinces. I am proud to be Canadian.

Argentina, in the southern corn of the world.
I love the singularities of our people and culture (as probably also happens to each one about their countries).

It has the potential to be a great place to live, but the 1% who own everything will never allow that.

England, what can I say, beautiful countryside and wildlife and we have awesome history and landmarks like stone henge, Hampton court palace (waring royals has always been a thing) or places like Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare and the food is pretty good too, who doesn't love fish and chips by the sea or a cracking roast dinner in a proper pub with a real ale to wash it down ? 💂‍♀️🇬🇧🏰

I like drinking freddo espresso until 9 pm and ouzo afterwards

Nice nature..that's what I like.
Otherwise, fucked up system. Most young people try to run away. I should too while I still can. I don't think it's worth to live and pay taxes here, I'd rather do that somewhere where I'd actually get proper services for it.

I'm in the U.S.- southwest desert region.

I love the dry hot climate and the way the earth here smells when it rains. It smells like salty, metallic minerals and clean rain and blooming desert flowers, all heated up from the steaming ground. It's truly heavenly.

Fuckin sucks

I love a sunburnt country.
A land of sweeping plains,
I love her far horizons.
Her droughts and flooding rains.

@Roundandroundwego Check the weather for Iceland and you’ll never complain about the UK again.
@SW-User I'm not complaining about weather - why pretend we can know anything?

It's a big country where one end is quite different from the other end. Around my area is super hot and super dry
It's on fire and suffering from a punishing heat wave.
The varied scenery from state to state. The seasons.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
South Africa on my end.
It's a pretty country, but the corruption, infrastructure and unemployment is horrible.
Monalisaa1986 · 36-40, F
