What kind of friends do you hope for here?Online friends are said to rarely seem like those friends you grew up with, but you can say that about the type of friends you make in the workplace. Perhaps the word/term friend is overused and it should be the word acquaintance we utilise.
Sometimes acquaintances treat you better than people who are supposed to be your friends. So shift your focus.Learn to adjust your boundaries and treat people accordingly. No need to waste resources on people undeserving. Gaslighting is a thing. Do not ignore it.
