I've seen this posted online several times over the years. It's great, but there is some concern that its circulation on the Internet has undercut its effectiveness. The idea was that even if her date were right next to her, the woman could order an angel shot within his hearing and he would be clueless.

Still, it's going to help.

My only concern would be for the safety of the bartender if he or she has to escort the woman to her vehicle. Crazy stalker guys aren't always overtly dangerous. They are dark alley types.

And what they should have in the men's restroom is a warning sign above the g******** that says enter at your own risk LMFAO

The first counterpoint that I know of would be that, if this spreads, potential abusers will know exactly what an "angel shot" is. Every bar/place would have to come up with its unique codeword.

Even then, the abusers would just have to check if the drink that their partner orders exist in the menu.

i 1,000,000% AGREE every bar and restaurant and gas station womans room needs this sign.... BUTT there are times that women are the Abusers, so maybe that sign should be in both rest-rooms....

I agree. I’m thankful my regular bar has those de facto rules. But every bar should, for sure.

Would be better to just ask for it, escort, uber, or police. No confusion about what you need and they will do it.

Think about this for a minute, ladies. If you're in the women's washroom of a bar and you're reading this notice on the wall, why wouldn't you as a female just pull out your cellphone and call your own uber or call someone to give you a lift or call the police yourself?

Why would you even consider going back to the bar and sitting back down beside the weird guy who's waiting for you, to then play a game of charades with the bartender who my have forgotten about the sign that hangs on the wall of the women's washroom?
