Breakfast was cereal with raisins and a banana, fruit juice then tea. I didn't have lunch, had lentil dahl with rice for tea.

@RodneyTrotter1 I would love to have cereal 😭 Two years ago I was diagnosed as pre diabetic. I had to meet with the diabetes nurse to learn all about the disease. According to her cereal of any kind with milk is the absolute worst thing a diabetic can have. I haven't had cereal in two years. 😢 Raisin Bran was one of my favorites.

@Musicman if it would make you feel better nobody should be drinking milk. It has about 12 grams of sugar per glass you could sub out almond milk or cocunut milk ? next time you meet with the nurse biing a box of donuts with you (but don't eat them) and thank her for telling you about the ceral thing--she if she has a sense of humor........

Nothing for breakfast. Probably leftover chicken-eggplant stew for lunch. For dinner I am making baked barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli & cauliflower and baked butternut squash with maple syrup, butter & cinnamon.

@Ferise1 yes and it was good. I didn’t have breakfast this morning either. I got up early and went shopping at 3 different stores. By the time I got home and everything put away I was hungry and had some of it for leftovers. Still craving the baked butternut squash but the boy, who is 18, polished it off last night. It was so rich that it was like having a desert. I bought 2 more butternut squash this morning. They have a lot of vitamins in them.

Last night I had some homemade air fried french fries with a pack of brown gravy mix. Some left in the fridge. This morning I will likely have oatmeal. Later not sure
Breakfast- Porridge Lunch- Sausage and bacon baguette (courtesy of a mate) and lasagne for later tonight!
