I keep my ketchup in the fridge because I prefer cold ketchup. My butter stays on the counter.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
Yes I keep them in the fridge. I worry the will spoil sitting out
VisionQuest · 51-55, M
I don't refridgerate my ketchup and I keep my butter in a butter bell.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I don't keep anything in the fridge unless it has to. Butter needs to be in the fridge for the amount of time I keep it, but ketchup doesn't, it will stay fresh for years.

No. Ketchup has so many preservatives it keeps for eons, and dairy absorbs smells of things stored around it, so unless its homemade butter in a jar, no.
