@BritishFailedAesthetic good and she is right. So many in America think that parasites are a third world country problem but they are in waterways and soil and pets and in meat & seafood…even can be on produce. Don’t need to be walking into the house with street shoes on. Parasites can be linked to a number of health issues that doctors seem not to pick up on. There was a man with unrelenting back pain who went to 25 different doctors and none of them knew what his problem was, he had all kinds of scans and they couldn’t find anything. Someone told him about a chiropractor in Wichita Kansas that might be able to help. He drove up there. The chiropractor ran a metal device over his spine and told him where the pain was located (which was correct). Told him he would run a blood test and it came back that day positive for a parasite that had bored through his intestine and lodged near his spine and was causing nerve pain. He gave the man a pill and told him to take it and if the pain wasn’t completely gone to come back on Monday and get a second pill. He stayed in a motel and went back on Monday because some pain was remaining, got the 2nd pill and the pain was completely gone after that. It might have been Ivermectin, the lady that told me was his mother’s neighbor and she didn’t know what he was given.
Yes except for repairmen and other such types. I bought 2 large packs of disposable shoe covers for $1 each at the discount store for any that enter now
Nope. I don't want their athletes foot fungus on my floor, and I don't want to smell their feet, and I don't want to take the chance that they will slip and fall on my linoleum. 😁😁😁
No, I don't insist, because my visitors have all been family who never heard of such a thing and wouldn't understand it. The ex and I had a policy of only wearing socks or soft soled slippers around the house though.
Never. I live rather rurally. Guest are encouraged to keep their shoes on. In winter, they can remove their boots. I have spare slippers. I do not get a lot of guests. And I am not obsessive about my floors. I vacuum daily. Mop sometimes. And sweep too. Max, my puppy, and Sasha, my senior dog, both shed fur.
@Nimbus You probably have your sofas and chairs wrapped in that plastic cellophane abomination...yer body needs to be exposed to germs..lets get a DOG😀
@Nimbus And the chances of that, IF they're alert enough to watch where they're walking??? Perhaps your friends should put their damn phones in their pockets while doing the difficult task of walking!!

Only if they're wearing socks. I don't wanna see ugly feet.
@ShaneMckay Do you walk through parking lots at stores and your place of employment? You show by your reply that you do not know how to think rationally, nor with any logic.
