Socks...???

texasdaddydom · 51-55, M
hundred years ago or so blue was girls color and pink was for boys for children, a man shouldn't be afraid to wear any color he wants, or woman this question specified male.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thankyou. @texasdaddydom
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@texasdaddydom A hundred years ago blonde girls and women wore blue and darker haired-women wore brighter colors such as reds. My grandmother loved blue but her hair and coloring were darker and her mother liked to dress her in reds.
WillaKissing · 56-60
I wear pink and I do not worry about what other's think, in fact I wear women's apparel and do not care what other's think.
samanthaX · 41-45, T
@WillaKissing same here darling ♥️♥️♥️

It is such a shame that colours have been imprinted onto peoples brains saying they represent a following.of people (Gay)

First the word " Gay" was stolen, when it used to describe people happy, having Fun, dancing, round the Maypole.
Now people will not use that word for it represents Homosexuals. Then we have the Beautiful colours of the Rainbow, now also hijacked to represent homosexuals.
Even more apparently where as I wear many standard colours of shirt and always have done, and now apparently Pink represents you are a homosexual. So what does yellow, green, blue, apricot, cream red, black, represent, or even the most common colour brown
we see every day in the wc, Does brown also speak for itself and represent everything is just crap.
I am not anti homosexual, but I HATE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO WEAR CLOTHES, IN CASE YOU ARE ACCOSTED, WHICH HAPPENS, BECAUSE OF THE COLOURS YOU WEAR..
I AM STRAIGHT AND ALWAYS HAVE SOFT COLOURS, INCLUDING PURE WHITE IN MY WARDROBE AND TO BE SMART WITH SUITS JACKETS, BLAZERS BUT NOW I HAVE HAD TO EXCLUDE A LIGHT SHADE OF PINK BECAUSE PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE HOMO SEXUAL.
LIGHT/ PALE PINK USED TO BE EXCEPTIONALLY SMART WITH SUITS AND BLAZERS.
ALL BECAUSE THEY WANT A PRETTY NAME TO USE INSTEAD OF THEIR REAL DESCRIPTION OF THEIR FOLLOWING.H/ HOMOSEXUALITY/HOMOSEXUAL.
I AM 78 THIS YEAR, AND I CAN ASSURE YOU IN MY EXPERIENCE OF LIFE THEY ARE JUST AS PREDATORIAL AS ANY MAN OR WOMAN REGARDING THE OPPOSITE SEX.
ONE THING I HAVE LEARNED, LESBIAN WOMEN ARE GOOD FRIENDS AND THEY TREAT YOU AS EQUAL BECAUSE THE WHOLE BASIC ATTITUDE IS SEXUALLY SHE WANTS A WOMAN, WHICH MAKES THEN EVEN MORE INTERESTING AND CAPABLE TO BE A GOOD FRIEND WITHOUT ANY REFERENCE TO SEX.
angie8819 · 56-60, F
Used to be the other way around pink for boys blue for girls
Then it got changed for some reason
exexec · 61-69, C
Of course. I wore a pink shirt yesterday, and I actually got comments on how nice I looked.
theSoutherner · 70-79, M
IT IS VERY GOOD COLOUR TO GO WITH SUITS AND BLAZERS "A LIGHTER SHADE OF PINK IS VERY SMART WITH A BLUE BLAZER, AND I AM VERY STRAIGHT.
I WEAR THE COLOURS I WANT, BUT UNFORTUNATELY NOT PINK BECAUSE OF THE HOMOSEXUAL REPRESENTATION IT IS NOW SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT IN THIER. WORLD.
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
It's OK to wear whatever color makes you comfortable and other people's opinion. Do not matter!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
It's 2024, I didn't think it was still an issue.
Do you think it effects your masculinity? Are you gay? Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing. If you lack confidence, work on that. Has nothing to do with pink.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Hi, I’m not gay but a lot of people think that I am, I don’t mind that too much but it can be scary sometimes as other boys can be aggressive towards me. I wear pink clothes sometimes and a lot of people seem to think that it’s wrong or that I’m strange. @PoetryNEmotion
@Strongtea Well, some people are not comfortable in their masculinity and they want to hurt others who don't fill the stereotypes of what are typical males. So they get aggressive or even violent. You have to do what is right for you. You are old enough to do this. If you live in a smaller town, likely the negative attention is stronger. People in bigger cities are more tolerant, in general.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thankyou. Yep I live in quite a small town so it can be a little bit hard going if you stand out a little bit. I have said some horrible things to people when I was a bit younger in order to fit in so maybe I deserve it a little bit. I will continue to dress how I want though so I do appreciate your advice. 😊@PoetryNEmotion
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
In the Victorian Era pink was considered too hot and strong a color for girls and was reserved for boys, I've read. Back then, the girls got blue.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
That’s really interesting! How times have changed!@ChipmunkErnie
Matt85 · 36-40, M
I try to avoid it personally.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I really like it but try to only wear a little bit like socks or t-shirts.@Matt85
I think guys that wear pink look hot!
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Oh cool!!!😊@InOtterWords
pride49 · 31-35, M
Pinks ok. It's used in prison because pink has a calming effect btw. XD
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Oh, that’s interesting! I didn’t know that. @pride49
pride49 · 31-35, M
@Strongtea yep. "Orange is the new black" and "Wentworth" are good tv shows about prison. I usually wear black tho lolz
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I’ve heard of Orange is the new Black, but not seen it yet. I like bright coloured clothes, but some people look really cool in all black! 😊@pride49
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
My 4 year old wears pink sometimes. It’s just a pretty color and looks good on anybody
I don't think it's a problem
anoderod55 · 61-69, M
Mom bought my brother and me pink shirts . They looked nice . Didn't think much about wearing , till one of the guys said something about it
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Yes, same here, I wore something pink not giving it a thought until people started saying stuff to me.@anoderod55
anoderod55 · 61-69, M
@Strongtea Sad , some people always look for something to complain about . Wore a t shirt yesterday with a pink ribbon on it . Got compliments , but probably because of what it stood for . (Cancer awareness ) Pink is a nice color .😸
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
It's fine for men to wear pink if they want. I haven't worn a pink shirt in years, but the last one I had my wife didn't like so she prefers other colors. She rarely wears anything pink herself either.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I’m old enough to remember when men or boys wore pink it was because they did their own laundry and didn’t know how to separate colors from whites. You’d know when they wore something pink.
Reminds me of that kiwi movie..
this guy deliberately wears a pink shirt so he can beat up doods that pick on his pink shirt… lolz
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I’ve not seen that one. Sounds funny though@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I knew a guy would would do that in my high school.
JSul3 · 70-79
YES!

Elvis Presley wore pink shirts. Pink/black were a regular staple of attire in tbe rock n roll 50s.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thanks!!@JSul3
JSul3 · 70-79
@Strongtea Web search: Elvis wears pink.

Then look at the pictures. He wasn't the only one during that time.
Studies show most men like pink. But they usually don't wear it because of the social stigma attached to it.
GunFinger · F
Try to wear whatever you like as long as they're decent and be confident.
Wear salmon. It's close to pink and it's always okay to wear meat!
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Ok, good idea! 👍😊@SooperSarah
Wear whatever you want, as long as it covers your bits
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Good advice! 😊@BeefySenpie
justanothername · 51-55, M
If you are showing your support for women’s breast cancer then definitely. Also if you are sponsored by a building supplies company that sells Pink batts insulation products then it’s highly likely your team strip will be pink.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
It’s neither of those, but thanks! I have some pink clothes but people think I’m lame or something when I wear them.@justanothername
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Strongtea I guess it depends on what shade of pink you are wearing and how confident you are.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Oh ok, I like all the pinks but I get what you’re saying 😊@justanothername
Pink neckties and shirts are good. Pink sports jacket? NEVER!
Plasticbag · 100+, M
It’s sound
Vin53 · M
Yeah, if its around their fingers
Vin53 · M
@Strongtea In deed it is! Most of the best things in life begin as gross.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I don’t really do that sort of stuff, but thanks.@Vin53
Vin53 · M
plasticpants02 · 61-69, M
i love pink. but would not wear it out. doesnt go with the big male image lol
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Oh, ok thanks@Wallflow3r
Jexie · 22-25, F
I saw a guy wearing pink today and he looked hot. I guess it depends whether you can pull it off.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Jexie I find that men with darker complexions look better in pink. Pink clashes with ginger colouring lol
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Real men wear whatever tf they want.
You do you, man. Doesn't make you any less masculine.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Thankyou! 😊@basilfawlty89
Zonuss · 41-45, M
No. Pink is really a womans color.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Zonuss In our culture it has been in the past but not in all cultures. Male and female colours is just an artificial construct.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Yes, that’s what a lot of people say@Zonuss
JSul3 · 70-79
@Zonuss Disagree. All colors for all people.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I think it’s okay
tenente · 100+, M
are you sure the color of the clothes in the problem? 🤔
samanthaX · 41-45, T
I love wearing pink, I love people's reaction to it ♥️💋
