Wow!! No there shouldn't be a difference she can wear her hair how she wants
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@Shelly6395 she will anyway. I won't encourage my kids to follow any rule that doesn't make sense.
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
Τhat's called sexism and as a logical person I'm against it.

@KuroNeko they need to understand that neither the students nor the parents will tolerate their bullshit
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@HannibalAteMeOut I am raising kids to be themselves, I won't have some dried up old suit tell them different.
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
@KuroNeko that's the right thing!
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
I don't think there should be different rules for girls and boys regarding their hair. Your daughter's haircut sounds really cute and she should be able to wear it imo.
My 19 year old went to highschool for four years with hair down to the middle of his back looking like he walked out of a 1970's hippy magazine. It was fine and they never asked him to cut it or put it up

stodgy old rules from the 50's. Begone with them.
Miram · 31-35, F
Just tell them your daughter is Kabyle like me.
And it's racism to ask her to hide her culture.
Let them try to google for fact checking. Most of us record so little about our tribal customs it's impossible to verify.

Nah, it's crazy that they are making it an issue
exexec · 70-79, C
No, and I had a flat-top in high school in the old days. I do a lot of work with teenagers, and there are lot more important things to worry about than hair style.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
No. And furthermore, why should there be any rules about haircuts at all?
Sure. Let's all pray and read the kjv Bible in class as well🙄
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@canusernamebemyusername so many ways we could waste time and resources...
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Why would there be any such rule for either?
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@samueltyler2 why indeed 🤷♀️

SW-User
Nope. There should be no difference. She should be able to shave her head if that was what she desires. Either no fads allowed or all fads allowed.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Ah school, were freedom of thought and individuality go to die.

@SW-User No, it just has a head who is not progressive in the least.
Penny · 46-50, F
I agree its pure sexism.
Yulianna · 26-30, F
all school children should have their heads shaved, stop all this nonsense!
Yulianna · 26-30, F
@samueltyler2 🤣🤣🤣 no!
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Yulianna you did have me worried for a moment there.
Yulianna · 26-30, F
@samueltyler2 no, i am not going mad!
Wtf 🤦♀️
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Not acceptable. That's stupid discrimination.
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@CrazyMusicLover I look forward to telling them that if they think of complaining to me.
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
At milatary school they all are bald.
DDonde · 31-35, M
Control over hair styles seems excessive
SpaceJesus · 41-45
Nah. All haircuts are welcome in the school of rock
AmbivalentFriability · 26-30
No. I think it's bullshit. 🤷
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
That is sexism and that’s not right. I don’t think there should be a difference.

SW-User
That's ridiculous
