Do you think that there should be a difference in rules for girls and boys regarding hair cuts/styles at school?

My daughter has an undercut with shoulder length hair on top and has been told she must wear her hair down to cover it, but plenty of boys have that hair cut and are not told the same thing.

Thoughts?

Just tell them your daughter is Kabyle like me.

And it's racism to ask her to hide her culture.

Let them try to google for fact checking. Most of us record so little about our tribal customs it's impossible to verify.

@Miram The whole non-binary thing really should be enough.

@KuroNeko I have two teens in Canada and not everything they wear or do is conventional.

So far no school staff bothered them about their differences but if that ever happened I would be so angry.

Certain things are for parents to decide. Not others.

@Miram It boils my piss on a regular basis. I am sick of having to speak to the school when she comes home upset or withy a detention over this utter bs. She has mental health issues and it's a huge drain on her energy.
