Do you think that there should be a difference in rules for girls and boys regarding hair cuts/styles at school?

My daughter has an undercut with shoulder length hair on top and has been told she must wear her hair down to cover it, but plenty of boys have that hair cut and are not told the same thing.

Thoughts?

@KuroNeko Sorry. As a teacher of a million years, I can honestly say, a hairstyle does not dictate the behaviour or learning behaviour or intelligence of a child.

@SW-User I absolutely agree. However, constant nagging and complaining about insignificant things like this, really does!

@KuroNeko Yes. What does the policy say? Ours is specific but hair below shoulder length has to be up and tied up with school colours. That's for boys too
