Sure we do! The longest running KFC joint in Canada is located in Fergus Ontario and has been there since the early 1960's at least.

The thing is, academically speaking, someone from Brooklyn might have the same ethnicity as someone from Queens.

And that's exactly similar to attributing your ethnicity to a country that only came to be established much later in lot of instances. Dividing areas can't really distinguish ethnicity..

I think the answers happen to be framed this way because most became disconnected from their origins. Amd perhaps less involved in this topic. Could be both good and bad. It requires a reflection of its own.

The disappointing part is just me joking for the record. You all enjoy your multiple nationalities, probably much needed in a world that often forget we all are the same.

@Miram More than anything it ties me to my childhood where my Grandparents were literally all "off the boat" and brought much from their home country with them...and now with time, barely any of that is carried to my son, but if you asked him (like me) will say he's Italian decent...yeah we are all the same - but it is nice to share things from our backgrounds that helped make us with each other too...
