So what do you think of Trump’s attempts to exploit Biden’s family’s private suffering for his own personal electoral gain?

I think the matter is HOW COVID will affect him.

When it doesn't affect him much and his health will take it easy - he will stand up and say: "Look! I've always said that this virus is nothing."

But when this virus will affect him much (like Boris Johnson from UK) so I agree with you that MAYBE he wished he had worn a mask.

He will use this story, to make himself look good., or to avoid a debate, just like he avoids paying taxes, avoided revealing his taxes, avoided admitting he profits financially from Russian investors, because it would have made him look bad if people knew he had not lost money for the past umpteen years.
