@bijouxbroussard What if the whole thing is a hoax, to get him out of the debates, and also to come out in a week and say those tablets he has been pushing everyone to use worked...or even that he got an early vaccine shot and ta-da, im totally cured. It’s right up his alley and exactly what he wants to promote to seal the success of his management of CoVid. But I’m scared of his Nazi like dictatorship. He fires people at Will. @SW-User it’s unlikely he really has the virus. It’s a political ploy. Claiming he has it, then he will claim he has the cure. And say that he was right all along and that he has saved the world. This is why he has pushed doctors to create the vaccine, but not release it yet.

@Mindful but he has covid-19 now so a vaccine can't help him. If that was his ploy he's screwed the message up significantly.

@SW-User there is a vaccine that hasn’t been released. In the news today, the company said they were going to mention “why” it isn’t being released, just that the FDA has its reasons. Now this announcement. Because he is POTUS, he will claim the good doctors gave it to him, he volunteered to take it, and it worked, he will praise the doctors (and himself) and Let everyone e know that if it wasn’t for him, there would be no cure,he is the reason everyone will be okay now.

@Mindful two things....
There are many vaccines in the clinic (WHO lists them all in their website) in the UK we have a national clinical trial programme the NHS is running, I'm a volunteer but as of yet I've not received any dose (due to conditions and other medications I'm probably excluded). None have sufficient phase 3 data yet to approach bodies for licensing, simply you can't speed up phase 3 safety data. Pfizer expect safety readouts in late October.

Now... A vaccine is a prophylactic. You take it to help your body build up antibodies and t cells in your immune system so when you get infected your body is ready to fight it quickly.

If you've caught it already then a vaccine is a chocolate fire guard, useless, you missed the opportunity. Actually injecting a vaccine then may cause a Cytokine Storm and make you more sick.

If he says a vaccine saved him that would be simply... A LIE

I think the matter is HOW COVID will affect him.

When it doesn't affect him much and his health will take it easy - he will stand up and say: "Look! I've always said that this virus is nothing."

But when this virus will affect him much (like Boris Johnson from UK) so I agree with you that MAYBE he wished he had worn a mask.
