MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
I don't understand kg, but 315 lbs.
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
@Beachgirl Its just 3 plates on both sides. Its not that hard. There are people out there that bench over 400
@MrSmooTh kg is half of lbs so if you do 400 lbs you’re doing 200 kg

haven't really worked out in gym in 15-20 years since I was still in Army; never got anything out of max lifts so I've forgotten/don't remember; as far as sets, 3x10's @ 200lb pretty regularly; I was mostly lower body strength back then, run a mile in 6.5-7 min and squat 375-400lb

When I was a kid of about 15 my class went to see the winners of the Grey Cup (Canadian Football). We got the grand tour of the stadium and the locker room and the workout room. There was a bench press set with about 350 lbs 155 kg. that one of the professional players had been using to work out. One of the smaller guys in the class asked if he could try to press that weight. The trainer said that he could but he would need to go get another trainer to help spotting. Before the trainer got back the little guy dropped on the bench did 5 reps and slammed the weights back on the rack. What the trainer didn't know was that we were all a bunch of tough farm kids but the little guy was by far the strongest kid in the class.

BigImo · 26-30, F
Got to 125 kg back when I was really into it
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Since I hurt my back I can only manage 40 kg these days.
@ruckus I can’t do bench presses I want to but I have none to assist me to do it
ruckus · 61-69, M
@Monaschandroff86 A spotter is important if you are going hesvy. There are gyms that have bench press machines, that you wouldnt need a spotter.
@ruckus I’ve done one of them that you stand up with about 100 kg I don’t remember haven’t done it in a long time
Rokan · 31-35, M
I have no clue. i usually just rep out 185lbs in sets of 20 until i get 100 total.
black4white · 56-60, M

Sapio · 51-55, M
