I totally didn’t get back to bed after grocery shopping. I do my grocery shopping sometime between 7am and 8am on either Saturdays on Sundays cause I want to avoid the crowds and long lines. Are you an early grocery shopper too?

No not that early in the morning for me, But I have not been doing anything much since May 3rd when I had surgery on my right leg and heel. Trying to heel and recover, damnest thing though is I took a step on Memorial Day morning and tore muscle or scar tissue in my right leg at the surgery site. Now I am icing it and awaiting an MRI to see what I tore or damage.
@TexChik Yep, another old Army injury that came back on me. Nerve damage in the heel with Nine stitches, and tendon repair in my calf with Five staples removed on May 19th, took a step on May 30th and something tore loose (Muscle or scar tissue causing all that internal bleeding ana swelling.
In England the supermarkets don't open until 10am on Sundays. It was a pain in the proverbial when I was shopping for the catering business I used to own. :-(
Yes, I am and went this morning. The shelves are restocked overnight. I love early Sundays for the best markdown hunting and so rewarding. I prepared a Boston Butt for smoking and made a coleslaw, for dinner and having fun doing chores and repairs. I'm waiting for cocktails. 😋
I got to work just before 6 am. Worked from 7 to 2....now, I'm just lallygagging on SW while emotionally making myself available to leave work. I plan on picking up some wine on my way home.

I read Baron's and WSJ cover to cover outside while I have breakfast, do some gardening, then go visit my old dad....hmm this is an older post, I wonder if I answered it before 😅

I woke up late .. didn’t have time for a shower and got ready and got on the bus for work .. my boss was late too .. so I pretended the clock in machine didn’t work .. so he gave me my time lol
My SO was up early and went to one grocery and the self checkout was closed with only one worker scanning. Consequently there was a huge line. He ended up putting his items few back and left. Went to the gym but still had time before work to try again but went to a different grocery store, apparently it was night and day. We think it was staffing issues, I wonder if that's a nationwide problem?
That's a great idea, but I usually don't get out the early. We usually have an extra coffee and watch trash reality TV. I get out around 10 am which is still avoiding some of the crowds.
