Politically Incorrect Bad Boy ;D

I was visiting with a friend of mine last Friday, and he mentioned that he had received a letter from his homeowner's association, stating that he is in violation of the rules and bylaws by parking his travel trailer on his lawn. They have received several complaints, primarily from his neighbor across the street, whom he calls "D.B." 😉

I told him he had better hire someone to finish the travel trailer's roof, because he can't seem to get it done...and his homeowner's association will probably start fining him.

He said he was not worried about it, because if they try to fine him, he will claim that he identifies as an LGBTQ, black Native American...and that they are persecuting him because of same...and says that they will then back off. And he said he will also claim that they have stolen his land, and he is just trying to take it back. 🤣🤣🤣 (He is Irish/Italian).

After choking with laughter, I said, "My goodness, you are packing a lot of different people in there. You should probably tell the homeowner's association that your pronouns are "They", and "Them".

Seems to me our HOA cherry picks who they go after like some are getting away with it for years while others get nit-picked over hardly nuthin.

@4meAndyou I think its funny when you have people call the HOA on something that can be handled by the local laws and governments that we all ready payfor and have in place.
Dog barking?
Call animal control.
Fire?
Call the fire department.
My son also had a neighbor call the fire department on him for having a small fire out doors in their fire pit.
The fire department showed up, looked around, and said" Yep looks good, 10 feet clearance."
"Have a nice evening folks."
Then left.
The woman never bothered them again.
She was the one with the yappy dogs.

@Adrift D.B. calls the HOA for things like smoke blowing into her open window...which is not against the law...just a nuisance.
Adrift · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou The nuisance clause can be an open ended thing to use against anyone.
Is her TV too loud?, The perfume smell coming out of her dryer vent nauseating or maybe her flowers are a nuisance to your allergies.
I mean it can go either way.

Maybe he should throw in the KKK for good measure. My oldest son and his buddies called the Jerry springer show and said that he was a gay black man and a ranking member of the KKK and asked if Jerry would invite another member in his group to the show sir he could tell him that he loved him and wanted to get married. I think it was nine months before they quit calling give or take. If was funny at first, this was back when land lines were still in most homes and cell service was about two hundred a month for two hundred minutes.
A couple of times I connived to hand the phone over acting like it was someone else calling.
Hey, it's for you man... Then get away before they caught on.
The they/them pronouns will do the trick- and he can have a whole month in June to do whatever "they" wants 🤭

Funny, but he did know the "rules" when he moved in. He should abide by them as he may have an issue in the future with someone. Possibly the D.B.
4meAndyou · F
@Teslin He is one of those people who really wants to avoid civilization and live off the grid, but when push comes to shove, he is afraid to do so. That being said, the area where he lives was sold AFTER he moved in, and the new homeowners association and their rules came into being at that time. He DID sign an agreement...but I think it was because he could not face the thought of moving.
Teslin · M
@4meAndyou Well, then he is grandfathered in to the old rules, if there were any. Except for that signature issue though ?
4meAndyou · F
@Teslin There was no "grandfathering". New owners, new Homeowners association, and a requirement to sign if you wanted to remain.
Teslin · M
@4meAndyou I was not sure if he owned the house and land, or was renting?
I assume he is renting.
4meAndyou · F
@Teslin No. He owns the house, but it is a mobile home, and situated on land that is owned by a new group.
Teslin · M
@4meAndyou I get it, he rents the land.
So, he has to "obey" their rules.
