Politically Incorrect Bad Boy ;D

I was visiting with a friend of mine last Friday, and he mentioned that he had received a letter from his homeowner's association, stating that he is in violation of the rules and bylaws by parking his travel trailer on his lawn. They have received several complaints, primarily from his neighbor across the street, whom he calls "D.B." 😉

I told him he had better hire someone to finish the travel trailer's roof, because he can't seem to get it done...and his homeowner's association will probably start fining him.

He said he was not worried about it, because if they try to fine him, he will claim that he identifies as an LGBTQ, black Native American...and that they are persecuting him because of same...and says that they will then back off. And he said he will also claim that they have stolen his land, and he is just trying to take it back. 🤣🤣🤣 (He is Irish/Italian).

After choking with laughter, I said, "My goodness, you are packing a lot of different people in there. You should probably tell the homeowner's association that your pronouns are "They", and "Them".

Seems to me our HOA cherry picks who they go after like some are getting away with it for years while others get nit-picked over hardly nuthin.

@FloorGenAdm The people on the board are usually people who have a interest in keeping the property values high. In my neighborhood they were all realtors or friends of the builder.
The only people that seemed to be getting complaints were young busy couples with kids, and the few people of color that were constantly being harassed for one stupid thing after another.
The old busy bodies in the neighborhood didn’t have enough to do with their time so they appointed themselves as the HOA nazi enforcement team and were going around taking pictures and filing complaints against their neighbors.

@Adrift "Nazi" is a good description of my friend's neighbor, whom he calls D.B. She actually called the HOA once to complain because we were trying to have a small fire in his backyard, and the wood was smoky and the smoke kept blowing in through her open windows...🤣🤣🤣

@4meAndyou I think its funny when you have people call the HOA on something that can be handled by the local laws and governments that we all ready payfor and have in place.
Dog barking?
Call animal control.
Fire?
Call the fire department.
My son also had a neighbor call the fire department on him for having a small fire out doors in their fire pit.
The fire department showed up, looked around, and said" Yep looks good, 10 feet clearance."
"Have a nice evening folks."
Then left.
The woman never bothered them again.
She was the one with the yappy dogs.

@Adrift D.B. calls the HOA for things like smoke blowing into her open window...which is not against the law...just a nuisance.

@4meAndyou The nuisance clause can be an open ended thing to use against anyone.
Is her TV too loud?, The perfume smell coming out of her dryer vent nauseating or maybe her flowers are a nuisance to your allergies.
I mean it can go either way.
