I was coerced into attending college by my father, who insisted I had to go so that I could support my son. It was very easy. Perhaps too easy, when I did my 2 years of academics. I couldn't take it seriously. I didn't know HOW a college could offer high school level courses and expect to produce future teachers...which was the focus.
I transferred out, into Art College, and then I found the work absorbing. Unfortunately that was when I met the ex, who was so controlling that I could not go to the school at night to use the Lucy, to complete my class work.
("The Lucy photo expander is a drawing tool that allows users to enlarge photos and images for artistic projects. It reflects an image onto paper or canvas, enabling artists to draw over the image quickly and easily. The tool includes a photo enlarger that can magnify photos up to 4x, making it ideal for artists who want to enlarge small images or photos for larger projects. It is designed for versatility, allowing users to draw on various surfaces and mediums, and comes with a carrying bag for convenience.")

I took college very seriously. I waited a few years before I decided on a major so I was older. I paid for it myself and was working full time, so I worked hard at getting good grades and learning.
My studies were my priority, so pretty much a nerd lol. I also worked as a model at the same time and on my own, paid for my university. I saved my mother a lot of money, plus it made her really proud of me☺

@samueltyler2 Not defense, really... just saying I think the intention was well meant 😊

@SumKindaMunster i really don't need to defend myself to you!
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@samueltyler2 I know you don't. I just wanted you to know I see you and what you are doing and it's not a good look for you.
Not the first time I am seeing this behavior, either.
Nothing to be proud of, regardless of what your wife says.

I was serious about my grades. I was studying to be an engineer, and coursework was quite difficult. My biggest problem was trying not to think about my girlfriend who was at another college, dating other guys. I didn't date anybody else.

My music and working part time to contribute to its costs. My parents were paying the majority, but I worked for things I needed on campus.

Overall, trying to pass with good grades.

I didn’t go to college. I worked all through high school and went to work full time right out of high school.

My education.
Bleak · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 I couldn’t complete my education and didn’t achieve my goal. It was a sad state of affairs. No field for me.

None listed. Wasting time before I had to enter the real world was my only priority. The real world, as it turned out, was joining the navy (after lasting less than a month in my 3rd yr at McMaster).
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Interesting. I didn't set a priority.
