I wear a face mask wherever I meet people: grocery store, drug store etc. The only exception is a restaurant.

@TexChik If you are vaxed your chances of dying go up significantly. Either from the vax itself and its long term effects or from covid since the vax doesn't prevent you from getting the disease or spreading the disease. I sent a crew into a closed work camp. You had to be fully vaxed, tested every 4 days including testing before going there, wearing a mask all the time except for meals when you sat far apart. The entire camp came down with covid and the entire camp was severely ill. One of my guys lost a third of his body mass over the 6 weeks he was out with covid. I had it when it was still delta. A mild cold. I didn't even miss a day's work. No vax no mask no distancing no fear.

Never stopped. Never wore masks.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
I am wearing mask and still eating outside. I am fully vaccinated. I keep my distance because I hate people sneeze nearby me. At least wear a mask.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@WalterF Well, do you value my point?
Why you suddenly mentioned before 2020? Yeah I know I don't wear those in 2020 but only when I have flu I wear mask.
I am not speaking for pharma whatever named it is. I am just sharing my opinion. I feel odd just why people on this site always pick on me.
Is there something wrong what I just said? Never mind. I am brainwashed and dumb. My mistake for wearing mask.
.Gosh, how did you manage before 2020? Do you think people round you were never sick then? Because in actual fact they WERE, but it didn't kill you and you came through it unscathed without any artificial attempt at curbing your breathing! Why start now?

@WalterF you are entitled to your viewpoint, but that is what it is, not medical information, not science. We are now seeing an abundance of very sick people many ending us in hospitals. There is now a shortage of pediatric beds in almost every jurisdiction in the US, we are seeing COVID, influenza, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and others, causing lots of illness. Over 300 US citizens are dying every day from COVID. That is not a viewpoint, it is FACT. I wear a mask when I am in uncontrolled environments, such as elevators, supermarkets, in restaurants when not eating or drinking. Those are my choices. As to effect of masks on oxygen availability to the masker, the science is very clear, there is very little, if any effect, that is science, not viewpoint!

Here in TN only ones who got sick were those that did not take care of themselves from the start. I never stopped going to restaurants. I only wore a mask at work because they forced us to. Our freedom fighting Governor set us free and life went on. We do not have as many issues as places that have deadly mask mandates in place. Its been proven masks keep you sick. But of course the natzi propoganda machine has made sure very few people know that.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
It depends on where I am, if it’s a stuffy building with stuffy Republicans yes. Almost never outside unless a lot of Republicans are around I wear the mask for one reason is to irritate them.
texasborn89 · 31-35, M
yeah i eat in restaurants again. my city isnt strict on mask mandates so i don't wear masks anymore and I'm glad about that
Fairydust · F
Yes I eat out, going out tonight.
I don’t wear a mask and I’m not vaccinated and haven’t ever got poorly with the covid flu.

Been going to restaurants for sometime now. Favorite diner just took down their outside canopy and closed up most of their outside seating -- needed the parking spaces -- but have a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk under the permanent canopy. You can keep some distance from unknown people in restaurants, and most if not all staff are still wearing masks in most. I wear my mask going into stores, other crowded indoor venues.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Was never scared to eat in a restaurant
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I have eaten in restaurants during the pandemic too. But I don't go to restaurants that often anyway. Masks weren't mandatory here since the spring and hardly anyone wears them anymore. I only wear a mask in healthcare facilities.
WhateverWorks · 36-40
We still wear masks in crowded places, but have relaxed in a lot of ways. Getting into the habit of washing our hands more often/mindfully since Covid probably makes more of a difference.
BizSuitStacy · M
As soon as the insane restrictions were removed, I went back to living my life as I had prior to covid.
MoonMoon · F
i wear my mask on the bus or similar crowded places but not in a restaurant
spjennifer · 61-69, T
I haven't been near the inside of a restaurant since before Covid and several restaurants in my area have closed down because they couldn't get staff. Yes, I still wear my mask in indoor public spaces and am fully vaccinated. Every once in a while I will order delivery from a restaurant or go pick it up as take out but rarely. The mask is a minor inconvenience that i don't mind wearing for 1/2 an hour while I go shopping.
Carissimi · F
No. I stopped eating at restaurants long before Covid, except for an occasional event. I got sick of sodium filled processed food full of saturated fat. I eat healthier at home. However, I was recently invited to an event, and declined because I do wear a mask when indoors around others, so it puts the kibosh on a social life. My health is more important to me.
sciguy18 · M
I’ve only done outdoor dining a few times.
BiasForAction · M
It’s still rare for me
Carry out once a week though

Yes, if I don't go to restaurants often it's because of saving money, not because of COVID.
I still wear a mask in malls and at work, get boosters when eligible/recommended. I try to lower my risk of exposure, without the expectation to eliminate it completely.

Not masked, not vaxed not afraid.
4meAndyou · F
My son and I ate inside a restaurant last August, for my birthday. We only wear masks here in Massachusetts if we are going to a doctor's appointment, or if we are actively coughing or sneezing.
Barny52 · 56-60, M
Yes we eat inside and don’t wear masks feel safe after vaccination and booster but won’t be going out to eat much with prices shooting up !!
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
I can only imagine the life of someone in the medical field constantly living in a state of fear. At least most of them…
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
I still wear a mask indoors if it is a huge crowd. We usually choose outdoor seating at restaurants if not a pick up order.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
Yes we've been living life pretty much like things we're before covid
revenant · F
I am not. Each time I wore a mask was because it was mandated with a fine to boost.
bijouxbroussard · F
I still wear a mask when I go out, and tend to get food delivered or to go. My friends and family are pretty much the same way. We eat at my place or at theirs mostly now.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Yes to the first question. I am not wearing a mask except at my doctors' offices, where it's mandatory.
pdockal · 56-60, M
Not @ all

No
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M

Nope...I'm allergic to sticker shock,

Only recently, and only during slow times at a couple of specific restaurants, seated away from other people, and not very often
I am fully vaxxed, and wear my mask and keep my distance from others when I am indoors in close quarters with others, particularly strangers (because anyone can be an asymptomatic carrier and spread any virus or bacterium, and anyone can be an insane conspiracy theorist without it being obvious on the surface)
