Have you began to eat inside of restaurants again since Covid?

For some states Covid has winded down some. Some are walking inside of stores without masks, others are still playing it safe with the flu, and RSV threat. Are you still wearing your masks regardless of your vaccination status?

I am wearing mask and still eating outside. I am fully vaccinated. I keep my distance because I hate people sneeze nearby me. At least wear a mask.

@iamelijah Yeah me too. I'd rather eat outside or takeout. I wear my mask in grocery stores and other clothing stores and whenever I do I always hear someone sneezing nearby or coughing.

@iamelijah Gosh, how did you manage before 2020? Do you think people round you were never sick then? Because in actual fact they WERE, but it didn't kill you and you came through it unscathed without any artificial attempt at curbing your breathing! Why start now?
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@WalterF Its not just about sick but manners. I've encountered people sneeze openly wide and not even say sorry for that. Its rude.

Do you want me sneeze at your back directly without closing my mouth?
WalterF · 70-79, M
@iamelijah No, and I would inwardly have strong words to say about that.

But that comes down to bad manners and thoughtlessness about others. But just because there are (and always have been) thoughtless people about, why should you harm yourself by breathing back in the carbon dioxide that is meant to be expelled, creating pools of germs in your mask that you then absorb - into your LUNGS?

Better to put up with sneezers and coughers than commit self-harm through voluntary oxygen deprivation

@WalterF Its my choice. Why you feel defensive for that?
If you don't wanna wear it go ahead. Its not mandatory anymore, right?
Why are you arguing me for?
WalterF · 70-79, M
@iamelijah I'm not arguing. I'm presenting another point of view. You should value that! Today, the "other point of view" is banned, because it is mal/mis/dis/non/anti/un/information.

Big Tech/Pharma control the message and only their point of view is allowed.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@WalterF Well, do you value my point?

.Gosh, how did you manage before 2020? Do you think people round you were never sick then? Because in actual fact they WERE, but it didn't kill you and you came through it unscathed without any artificial attempt at curbing your breathing! Why start now?

Why you suddenly mentioned before 2020? Yeah I know I don't wear those in 2020 but only when I have flu I wear mask.

I am not speaking for pharma whatever named it is. I am just sharing my opinion. I feel odd just why people on this site always pick on me.

Is there something wrong what I just said? Never mind. I am brainwashed and dumb. My mistake for wearing mask.
WalterF · 70-79, M
@iamelijah Nothing wrong with what you said.

It's just good to consider other viewpoints.

You've made your decision, so that's fine. No worries. Have a great day.

@WalterF you are entitled to your viewpoint, but that is what it is, not medical information, not science. We are now seeing an abundance of very sick people many ending us in hospitals. There is now a shortage of pediatric beds in almost every jurisdiction in the US, we are seeing COVID, influenza, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and others, causing lots of illness. Over 300 US citizens are dying every day from COVID. That is not a viewpoint, it is FACT. I wear a mask when I am in uncontrolled environments, such as elevators, supermarkets, in restaurants when not eating or drinking. Those are my choices. As to effect of masks on oxygen availability to the masker, the science is very clear, there is very little, if any effect, that is science, not viewpoint!
