That wouldn't be a serious relationship now would it.
I was born year 5 and I have been around some. In all that time. I've never found computer dating successful in making long term relationship.
Because that profile is still active and they are always searching.
Trust me what works is the good old fashion meeting off the street, at mall, grocery shopping, or wherever, but rarely on-line does it work out.

Needs context. 'Splain, Lucy. First and foremost, is she open about it or doing it behind my back? To me, it is more trust/honesty than sex or whatever. Second, what are our established boundaries -- not assumed boundaries, but verbalized and agreed upon boundaries. Which gets us back to #1. Third, why is she there? Forgot she was on it, has some contacts on it she would like to keep tabs on out of curiosity without carrying that relationship any farther, finds some of the posts a good laugh, etc.

Yes. When we were dating, my future wife was free to date others, but she didn't go out looking for dates. If she had been actively looking for other men to date, our relationship would have suffered and probably ended.

YES. I would be VERY angry if and when I found out. That's like a person leaving the back door open for cheating.

Yes, that's a deal breaker, we would be "No more."
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Yeah I would. What's the point? Obviously that person isn't sure about you. So its a problem.

Yes.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
It would end the relationship.
And so, no, I would not mind if an Ex do it.

Yes I would . It would mean they are not really into you and using you as a space holder and using you.

It wouldn't be a serious relationship to me if it got to that stage.

swirlie · 31-35, F
All relationships are serious until they prove themselves not to be, but maintaining their active profile on a dating website is no different than me saying "sure, why not?" to a random guy I meet in the mall who asks if he can buy me a coffee.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
Is Facebook a dating website?
Are they actually actively going to it or just never bothered to deactivated it?

it depends on how they explain themselves when confronted about it. if there's even a bit of hesitation in their answer, then we are done. HOWEVER they simply could have merely forgotten they had an account..
