What’s your top 10 USA states to live in?

Top | New | Old
if i could live in the states i could see myself living in arizona....i'vec been 3 times and always liked it there
@beermeplease The high desert gets masively chilly in winter, same in Las Vegas, it got down to 50F, which is freezing when You get used to 120F summers.
@NativePortlander1970 when we were there in february and the daytime high was say 70 and we showed up at the golf course in shorts and short sleeved shirt the locals would ask "you're not from around here are you" 😂 ....but that 70 quickly went down to high 30s or 40s as soon as that sun went down.
@beermeplease Very quickly, when there's no cloud cover it gets chilly, that's why overcast winter days seem warmer than sunny winter days, clouds are like a blanket.

10 of them? That's, so open-ended. I'll tell you where I don't want to live. Anywhere considered the Deep South, the Dust Bowl states, and any cities along the Coasts, with the populations of over 10,000.

Oregon
Washington
Idaho
Georgia
Maine
Alaska

@SlippingAway How do you know they are your top 10?
SlippingAway · 46-50, F
@Minniemixer123 I've driven across the USA twice and I've been to a lot of states. The only one on the list I haven't visited yet is Alaska, but I am sure that I would love it because of it's forests and wild nature.

If I could move to Canada with minimal effort and no bureaucracy, I very likely would.

I LOATHE the heat, and love having all 4 seasons. Winter isn't winter without snow and snow days.
