Let's be honest here and finally agree that there is no gun crisis. There is a crisis of morality. People don't have value anymore. Babies are tossed away in abortion. Children and spouses are tossed away in divorce. Parents are disrespected and shunned with old folks homes etc. People are objects of hatred and abandonment not love and acceptance. Sadly until that is addressed we will continue to have mass murders.

@ShadowWolf Yes kind of similar here. The liberals began as classic liberals but over the years moved ever farther left until we can no longer tell the difference between them and the Nazis of the 1930s Germany. Of course the socialists worship Marx and one of their leaders tried to look like Lenin. He did a pretty good job of it.
ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 That sounds about right. Man, tell me... how do people still believe in this Marxism nonsense after it's failed every time its tried in all areas of the world? And WHY would one of your leaders idolize Lenin.... Lenin ruined half the world with Marx's teachings (Cuba, China, Russia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Korea, and every country that is trying to mimic it currently!)

@ShadowWolf Your question is valid. I have no answer. Honestly I have no answer. The most evil ideology in the history of mankind if you base it on the death count per year and it remains the ideology of favor among the atheists of the world. Very very strange.

I totally agree. I am not sure how easy it is to change the constitutional rule. However we have seen enough killings recently and that's enough to realize that something is not right. My personal opinion is that guns should be prohibited and prohibited for all civilians. If we are to counter the current scenario by supplying more guns to all then that would be a total mess.

@SW-User Yes people are thinking like the survival of the fittest mentality!
SW-User
Absolutely @Carazaa . Let us hope that there will be a ban on guns sooner or later.

@SW-User🙏 I am praying!❤️

You sound frantic, panicked, distressed.
Learn what an assault weapon is, cuz you don't know.
No, we are not changing the Constitution and disarming millions of law abiding citizens.
We have not lost our rights - don't even think of taking them.
You are shameful.
The world wishes they were America.

The state I live in has a five-day waiting period.
About number one, I question the fact that in all of the recent shootings, a gun purchase was made on the same day. I thought the killer in Uvalde bought at least one of his guns a week in advance.
About number two, if a person has ANY felony, he should be banned from buying a firearm? Embezzlement, or some kind of fraud, etc?
Number three. What IS an assault weapon?
Number four. Why? What if the teacher holds a grudge and withholds the certificate upon completion? Should the student not be allowed to purchase a firearm due to the anger of the instructor who mishandled his own anger?
Number five. The constitution can be amended. There are two or three procedures that allow for this.
PS I don't "bare arms." I cover my weapon with a case. (Please excuse the humor in my PS.)

1. Great that your state has a waiting period, does it also have FBI finger printing to clear before purchase?
2. I agree
3. War rifle
4. Ok but I disagree there has to be counseling in anger managemen before someone buys a gun
5. The constitution has to be amended.

"Ban the lot of them" does not sound like a mellow response.

I agree with you most of the time but this time you are way off base. Loss of the second amendment would also lose your right to freedom to worship God. The mass shootings are not caused by guns. The are caused by humans controlled by Satan or his demons. Many of these shooters are demon possessed I e the Aurora Co shooter. The real solution to the problem cannot be accomplished by anything short of America turning back to God. What you have suggested will only make things worse. Love you sister but this time you are wrong.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Carazaa nice thought but it won't happen. Man is naturally evil. There are people killed everyday with knives and swords. I think I would rather be shoot than stabbed. Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the nation and the highest murder rate. Gun laws don't work because criminals (and Satan) don't obey the law.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Baremine who do you know that regularly kills people with swords. This is not the Highlands of Scotland nor Highlander.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@basilfawlty89 some of those knives could pass for swords.

@Mellowgirl That would be a miracle!
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
The Supreme Court will expand gun rights. No kidding.
Slade · 56-60, M
@Changeisgonnacome best news all day!
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
Brandon said we can't.
Carazaa · F
@Changeisgonnacome WE CAN change, if we submit to God!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Carazaa If we got back to God we wouldn't be worried about gons because it would never enter out head to use one against another human being.
Slade · 56-60, M
Groan🤮

Outlaw any person with criminal history to own a gun ever please!
Excuse you? I'm going to lay out a scenario for you. No names, but just know this is a true story. There was a guy who was raising a special needs boy. Like, severely impaired, ten years old and still couldn't wipe without Daddy to help. And this man would compose little songs here and there and sing them to his son throughout the day. One day, at school, his son started singing the potty time song his dad always sung: "My daddy likes my peepee, my daddy likes my butt..." etc. Immediately, a teacher took action, calling DHS and reporting child sexual abuse.
There was no abuse, of course. The guy was the best father imaginable, and his son tried desperately to tell the police, DHS, the prosecuting attorney, and even the judge. But even with the alleged victim insisting there was no abuse, and no other evidence whatsoever, that man was convicted and sentenced to seventy-five months, day for day. No programs, no time off for good behavior.
Tell me why that man doesn't deserve to defend his home from intruders.
