@Budwick I believe God is NOT happy when we are not changing the laws to have someone wait and fingerprinted before they buy a gun. Yesterdays hospital mass killings the man bought a gun one hour before. I am European, my friends are European, my family is european, and what is wrong with you to allow this to happen!

@Carazaa Guns are not the problem. Cain did not kill Abel with an AR 15. David did not kill Goliath with an AR 15. Saul was not killed by a handgun. All the ones who are just as dead as anyone killed by a gun.

@Carazaa After you. The tool used to kill is irrelevant. What is vital is the desire to kill. The reason there was a mass murder in Texas wasn't because some kid got his hands on a gun. His parents didn't stay together. His mother was using drugs. Ever heard of FAS? Trying to ban guns is tilting at windmills. It doesn't solve a thing.

@ShadowWolf A European woman is scared of guns. I understand that. I am not going to go after her for being a European. However I will go after her faulty logic. A gun is a tool. It is not dangerous. Banning it won't stop killings. Here in gun controlled Canada we had a mass murder. 23 people were killed. How is that possible? Canada had very tight gun controls. Some nut with a gun killed a bunch of women in a college so the gun laws were brought in. TBH I have never seen so much gun violence in my life as what I have seen in the last 10 years. There was a triple murder in the little town I grew up in. I knew the victims! They were killed with an illegal pistol. You can't legally buy a pistol. I asked a cop how hard it was to buy a gun. He grinned and said if I wanted an illegal gun he could get me one in about 5 minutes. Of course then he would have to arrest me for having an illegal handgun but he said it was that easy to get a handgun. BANNED since the 1930s!

If he didn't have a gun he would have calmed down. Other countries have solved this problem a hundred years ago. there have been 1-3 mass murders a day (220 total in 5 months) in the USA since January)

@hippyjoe1955 Her logic is faulty in much subject matter. However, yours is sound. I agree. Banning does ZERO for anything. Remember prohibition? It created a crime ring with Al Capone, and many others. People down South were making their own booze as well. Bans don't work.

@ShadowWolf We have it now in Canada. This afternoon the grandkids school was locked down after certain 'threats' were made. Emails sent to all parents.

@ShadowWolf Yup. A buddy of mine has a gun in his gun locker and everything is legal. However he has other guns packed in grease buried oh his property. The hidden guns are of the same caliber as the legal gun. His family escaped Russia unharmed because the family was armed. He won't be giving up the hidden guns.

@ShadowWolf Juthin (the PM) Castreau is the most loathed man in Canada at the moment. He does have competition . There is a terrorist from India that is keeping Juthin in power. Both of their parties were shelaked in an election last night. Juthin was not asked to campaign and his party lost official party status in Ontario. The terrorist's party also took a drubbing and now both parties are looking for new leaders. Oh and the terrorist's family member who ran for office was not elected. Not a good night for the leftists. Sadly the Progressive Conservatives who won the election were the least bad option. Had there been any real opposition the now premier would have been turfed as well.

@hippyjoe1955 That's good the leftists seemed to have lost, although from the sounds of it you guys have the "lesser of two evils". Progressive Conservatives... that is a wild concept to me... being from the US.

@ShadowWolf Yeah the name is a complete oxymoron. Many years ago the Progressive party was losing its base and decided to find a partner. The Liberal party turned them down so they joined the Conservatives. Shortly thereafter Canada got its own socialist party.

@hippyjoe1955 That is quite interesting. Here in the US, as I'm sure you are aware the parties flipped. Liberals used to be the party of freedom here, much like your own I believe. Then they swung left, and kept swinging harder and harder left to present. Conservatives here, became the party of freedom, swinging to the right. However, both want to ban things. Conservatives just want to ban and regulate a hell of a alot less than our libs do. If the progressive left in our country had it their way, they would force Marxisim on us all.

The liberals began as classic liberals but over the years moved ever farther left until we can no longer tell the difference between them and the Nazis of the 1930s Germany. Of course the socialists worship Marx and one of their leaders tried to look like Lenin. He did a pretty good job of it.

And WHY would one of your leaders idolize Lenin.... Lenin ruined half the world with Marx's teachings (Cuba, China, Russia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Korea, and every country that is trying to mimic it currently!)
