I punched and dented my door because I somehow gained another 2lbs. I don't understand why this keeps happening

I know muscle weighs more than fat and I'm most likely gaining muscle because I'm pretty much eating next to nothing everyday and going to the gym for an hour/hour and a half daily. I can't work my arms right now due to something being wrong with the muscle in my left shoulder so I've been doing cardio, legs and abs. I really don't get it and it's making me really mad and frustrated.

Nobody is going to want to be with my fat ass at this rate. I'm never going to reach my goal of 110lbs and between a size 0-4 at this rate. I don't know what else to do. They're not gonna give me ozempic because im not diabetic and it costs too much out of pocket. I don't know anymore. I'm beyond mad.

I was hearing on the news that ozempic was good for losing weight but it was also bringing up some kind of odd complication. I'm not entirely sure what it was about. I completely understand your anger and frustration though. Mine is the opposite. I work out like crazy and I can't build muscle no matter how hard I try. I gained 50lbs when I quit smoking and have a huge gut now. I was told, sugar causes the gut, so for 4 months straight I was only drinking Aquafina water. No sugary drinks, but still is sugar in foods. Still, a Pepsi is 124% sugar but for 4 months I cut it out entirely. Gut size didn't change at all. So don't let it discourage you and make you mad.

There are guys out there who would want to be with you. You really do look amazing, and I'm not just saying that.

@IAmNothing Yeah and so it's in our food too. So unless I can entirely cut out sugars 100% (which is nearly impossible) then I can't really cut out all sugars. So I went back to sipping on a Pepsi every now and again but I'm still mostly just drinking straight up water.

@twiigss I like pepsi 0 honestly

Hey that is the hitch, you have to eat more to reach metabolisation.
Being a man at 186 pounds I must eat 2300 calories a day to metabolize, but being on Ozempic I can barely eat over 1500, but if you eat too little your body says oh she must be starving so it freezes your weight. It’s frustrating I know but I once was in the same predicament and went to McDonald’s and ate a Big Mac and 1/4 pounder with large fries and lost weight! Then thinking oh if that’s what it wants I tried again few days later and I was already at calorie quota.

Please try not to get mad and find out what your metabolizing calories are. Then eat that minimum and work out and you should be good. Ozempic blows I can’t even eat Taco Bell without feeling nautilus. I’m already pretty much sexless, now nearly foodless. That just leaves 420!

Exercise and calorie restriction alone are not good ways to loose weight. You need protein, a limited amount of fat and cutting as many carbohydrates out of your diet as possible, but you still need to consume the amount of calories your body needs. The resistance training is to make sure that you don't lose muscle and instead loose fat. But you need to eat properly to do that. Have you considered hiring a trainer to help you?

There's a guy on YouTube called Thomas DeLauer who has a ton of videos on this topic.

@DunningKruger I've been eating roughly 750 to 1,000 calories a day max.

@IAmNothing Oh, no! Horrible idea. Get with a nutritionist as soon as and get help coming up with a sensible diet. That's my advice, for what it's worth.

Girl your body weight will fluctuate 2lbs even if you aren't gaining or losing weight in terms of fat. This is normal, you cannot stop it from happening. It doesn't mean anything. You should stick to either only weighing yourself on a weekly basis, or if you can't, measure yourself as well, because that will show you the truth.

EDIT: You will gain weight up to your period too, and if you measure yourself, your stomach will be bloated as well. Your body and weight changes sometimes, even in despite of that. Just please keep in mind that your body changes from day to day and try to look at things a bit more broadly.

Stop ruining the door and also don’t focus on weight…burn more than you take in and give your body a few weeks to equalize and check your weight like once a month

It’s challenging but possible good luck
IAmNothing · 31-35, F
@black4white I've been doing this for a bit over 2 months now. You'd think I'd have something to show for it but I don't.

Eating nothing doesn't help.
Gym / excersise initially gains water which adds weight. A good balanced diet and a bit of exercise should help.
IAmNothing · 31-35, F
@ironborn You'd think that in a bit over 2 months time I'd have something to show for it but I don't
I know it's frustrating. I have a problem losing weight too.

I don't even bother to exercise much anymore. It never helped me either. I've been restricting my calories and I'm SLOWLY, very slowly losing a little. It sucks.
IAmNothing · 31-35, F
@MsSwan I;ve been eating between 750 to 1,000 calories a day max
@IAmNothing I don't understand how you're not losing weight either. It's crazy.

My body is extremely good at retaining fat. If food was scarce, we'd be the lucky ones.

Right now I'm just trying to maintain where I'm at and hopefully lose a little more over time.

im no richard simmons but did you have a good bm lately? that alone is prolly a good few pounds variable any given day..
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
The number on the scale doesnt matter. Its about how you feel about yourself and present yourself to others. Dont give up on your goals, you are your worst critic. And NEVER rely on drugs to change yourself.
IAmNothing · 31-35, F
@GuyWithOpinions Unfortunately the number on the scale does matter for attractiveness. I feel defeated because what I want is getting further and further away.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
@IAmNothing i understand but your sad about a 2 lbs difference. My weight fluctuates from 180-195lbs regularly and i dont physically look different. Its about how you feel about yourself. Yeah its good to set goals and reach them. But loosing yourself mentally over superficial things isnt necessary. You got to keep up a new lifestyle and learn to enjoy it. Change can be hard sometimes but to reach your goal you got to plow through it.

You look fine, pay yourself compliments once in awhile ☺
