It's more of a reflection of this latest dynamic: [u]revenge politics[/u] which is carried over from "the base's" attraction to professional wrestling where they feel a sense of justice by watching the "other guy" get what they think he has coming to him/her.

They become free to roam anywhere including non-sanctuary cities. It doesn't matter that it makes zero sense in light of the White House stating there is no serious plan to do it, Baby-trump coming out and saying he is considering it, and alternately tweeting that the story about him planning such a thing is "fake news."

It drives attention and the revenge aspect of it: "we're going to hurt the other guy/the other team" and allows the hardcore fans of this reality TV numbskull to puff out their chests one more time for a few moments in sheer disregard of common sense, social decency, and their own self-interests. It's really the driving force of what "MAGA" really is and what it has become.

Sanctuary cities are the most logical place to send excess illegal aliens.
