Do you stay in with this heatwave?

The last few days in UK have been so hot but I managed two nights away by the seaside and it was actually 6 degrees cooler for about a 2 hour journey.
It was so nice to feel a breeze and the sports complex had lots of fans and even a bit of air conditioning.
Home now but we have fans on in all the rooms😀and I'm on ice lollies for a day or two 😀

My girls' schools had to close Weds-Thurs, so I stayed at home rather than in my air conditioned office 🥵

@SunshineGirl I'm not surprised, it was actually bloke 5 degrees cooler at the seaside.

I feel sorry for most people in the UK without AC. We live in Texas where everything has AC, but I had to be outside doing volunteer work for two hours today. I was soaking wet when it was over.
