Has wind velocity increased in your area?

My boss has told me that he thinks it’s A lot more windier than what it used to be. I do know it is like windy all the time but I never really kept track. So now that I see this makes me wonder even more maybe it is windy more now.

I think so. I'm always staking plants that have blown over and the soil is often dry from the wind.

There was something in the news tonight about there being 100kmhr winds, but it hasn’t happened yet

Its breezy today. It ended up blowing me off the water on the lake at the farm while I was fishing in my boat.

Velocity by definition has direction as well as magnitude (speed in this case) and it has become more Westerly and stronger over the last couple of days.

Not any more than usual. But what is odd is that birds are chirping at night now. The birds that you hear in the morning are chirping all night now.
