So if I put on a dress and call myself a woman.

Just like that all of you will agree with me right? No problem what so ever?

So, is the sky blue or is it purple? Are rocks hard or soft? Is water wet?
We're a society full of geniuses I swear.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
Sometimes the sky is purple. Sometimes it's gray. Sometimes it's orange or pink or red. I've even seen the sky turn green a few times. And every night it turns some shade of black. That's the thing about the sky, it doesn't give a damn what label humans put on it, it's just going to do it's own thing.

Maybe it's best not to try to force any definitions on something and just let it be. It's weird that people who claim to love freedom so much are more than happy to stomp all over someone else's freedom. Unless somebody's getting hurt, why is it so important to force people into specific categories?
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@KlonB You're right, the truth does matter. But the sky is not always blue, some rocks are soft enough to crush with your hand, and sometimes water exists as vapor in the air. Trying to limit what something can be is remaining ignorant of all the times it becomes something else.

If a blonde dyes their hair red, are they still a blonde? If a Jew converts to Christianity, are they still a Jew? If a mailman decides to get a job as a security guard, are they still a mailman?

You need to understand that there is a lot people can change about themselves if they want to. There are certain things that can't be changed. Absolutely nobody is making the claim that someone born male can choose to sprout ovaries, have periods, or give birth. That's foolish. It's just that the English language has a limited amount of nouns and pronouns that can apply to these people.

If you take someone that looks and acts exactly like a woman, it's going to be very confusing to call them a man. But we call strawberries berries even though scientifically they are not berries. We call mountain goats goats even though scientifically they're not goats. We call orcas killer whales even though they're not truly whales.

There's a difference between science and conventional language. It's just easier to call something by what we know than constantly inventing new words to account for every single nuance

@TinyViolins This morning the sky here was blue, pink, with a band of aqua on the horizon.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@KlonB Truth doesn't really matter though, there's a lot that I can go into this but if truth mattered to you, you'd recognize the validity of inter sex people which happens at birth verifiable and then things get WAY complicated when you put in genetics and chromosomes in the mix but also neuroscience as well, to add that to a complicated subject that is biology and gender identity as well as a mix of sociology and culture.

Do you even want me to start on those? I could write a four page comment based off it if you like, I mean you do care for truth and not for right winged anti trans politics right 😏😏 hehe.. I know the answer.

@KlonB um, no, the Zapatistas are internationalist, they support other people's struggles. They're not for racial nationalism. Indigenous Mayans asking for equal rights is not the same as am ethnostate. There are non-indigenous Zapatistas like Marcos.

Rojava is multiethnic and multireligous. There are Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, Yazidis, Assyrians and Armenians there.

@KlonB no, see, there's the thing. You believe people should be confined to ethnostates and shouldn't be allowed to mix. I believe people should be free to mix and move anywhere they wish.

How does this directly affect you?

You can put on a dress and call yourself a woman and I’ll agree with you on one condition: you can’t change your mind and go back to being a man whenever it’s convenient. As long as you’re a woman all the time I’ll agree with you.

Putting on a dress and calling yourself a woman won't prevent you from being a transphobic bigot so no, most of us probably won't agree with you no matter what you wear or call yourself 🥱
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
I agree with neuroscience rather than some stranger who thinks they're smart on the internet. Aside from neuroscience, no one needs your authority to be what they want. Ages ago, a woman may be committed to an asylum because she wore pants because pants were seen as being like men and not feminine. We know that feminine and masculine are on a spectrum. You accept it when women wear pants yet pants are masculine and yet it's normal. Gender identity has never and never will be a straight path, it will always vary.

🤷🏻‍♀️ Would I fight with you if today you wanted to be called Tom and tomorrow you wanted to be called Tim? If today you decided you were Christian, and tomorrow you decided Catholic or atheist would I tell you you’re not allowed to believe ABCD? No, because it’s not my life. My task as a person who doesn’t suck is to simply respect what other people do with their life.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
You don't have to wear a dress to be a woman. However you do need to perform gender if you want to be accepted as a woman so you'd need to lose masculine secondary traits and pick up feminine ones. You'd also need to do this consistently over time. If you're just doing it to "make a point" you've missed the point entirely.
gol979 · 41-45, M
I'm all for people doing whatever they want as long as no harm and it's consensual. Saying that there are some elements of the trans ideology that is totalitarian. You cannot even think that there are just two genders, this thought crime cannot be tolerated

Better question is why is your own identity so fragile it is threatened just by other people existing. Sounds like you are the one with some issues. Might want to see a professional about that.

@KlonB Riiight. That is why you are the one having a meltdown over this.

This is all about your insecurities. If it wasn't, other people's behaviour would not trigger you so badly.
@KlonB I am guessing you also care more about your feelings than actual facts, despite your claims to the contrary.
It's your life. Just do you, but be genuine. 🤗

@KlonB it doesn’t affect you though. What’s it to you if someone wants to wear a dress or be the gender they know they are?

Either you have these feelings and can’t be who you actually are or you are filled with such hate. I feel sorry for you either way.
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@KlonB So just because you have a tiny little micro-penis women are just supposed to spread their legs for you so you can create more pustulent transphobic bigots like you? 🥴
Pretzel · 61-69, M
I'm kinda old so I wouldn't call you a woman

but I would say that you identify as a woman

when I was a kid up until I was in my 30s you would be considered mentally ill and in need of therapy.

which probably wouldn't have helped. people are who they think they are.

and I'm old enough now to say "IDGAF" since you aren't asking me out on a date - or disclosing your chromsome status right before taking off your dress.

It all works until women are disempowered by transgender athletes knocking some biological sense into them.
[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9WpxrHLf0U]
@SW-User Okay, so it happened once. But that was an exception due to there not being a men competition at the time and had nothing to do with transgenderism.
SW-User
@NerdyPotato [quote]
The video is simply to correct the quoted statement. Whatever the exception, it happened and to disastrous results for women.

However, would it have been better if they identified as female?
@SW-User No, it wouldn't make a difference because in that case it was a unisex competition. Also, in actual women's competitions, it's not enough to identify as a woman. That's only accessible for fully transitioned women.

@KlonB roflol so some nasty "tranny" took you home and tried to fuck the little cockaroach? Sounds an awful lot like "I met her in a club down in old Soho", not another one of your deep, dark, dirty fantasies you poor little unsuspecting man, hope she fucked you good 😄

Your transphobia is showing. Did you know there are therapies for irrational fears and an debilitating need to control other people's lives?

@KlonB For example, but I'd recommend a professional therapist.

The only reason why you feel you can say your a women is because rich liberals have said that and they think its ok . They are encouraging others to do the same . In real life your just a man with a dress. They also think its ok to cause riots and convince you its ok to burn buildings .
This comment is hidden. Show Comment
@KlonB I'm mainly aiming that at the idiot who posted the photo of Michelle Obama with a dick. I can't comment on that thread because the OP blocked me.

Interesting that you don't care if Trump is gay, but are offended by trans people. Most people feel generally the same about trans as they do about gay. If you "don't know, don't care" if Trump is gay, why do you care so much about what pronoun someone uses? It's weird.
