So if I put on a dress and call myself a woman.

Just like that all of you will agree with me right? No problem what so ever?

So, is the sky blue or is it purple? Are rocks hard or soft? Is water wet?
We're a society full of geniuses I swear.

Sometimes the sky is purple. Sometimes it's gray. Sometimes it's orange or pink or red. I've even seen the sky turn green a few times. And every night it turns some shade of black. That's the thing about the sky, it doesn't give a damn what label humans put on it, it's just going to do it's own thing.

Maybe it's best not to try to force any definitions on something and just let it be. It's weird that people who claim to love freedom so much are more than happy to stomp all over someone else's freedom. Unless somebody's getting hurt, why is it so important to force people into specific categories?

@KlonB You're right, the truth does matter. But the sky is not always blue, some rocks are soft enough to crush with your hand, and sometimes water exists as vapor in the air. Trying to limit what something can be is remaining ignorant of all the times it becomes something else.

If a blonde dyes their hair red, are they still a blonde? If a Jew converts to Christianity, are they still a Jew? If a mailman decides to get a job as a security guard, are they still a mailman?

You need to understand that there is a lot people can change about themselves if they want to. There are certain things that can't be changed. Absolutely nobody is making the claim that someone born male can choose to sprout ovaries, have periods, or give birth. That's foolish. It's just that the English language has a limited amount of nouns and pronouns that can apply to these people.

If you take someone that looks and acts exactly like a woman, it's going to be very confusing to call them a man. But we call strawberries berries even though scientifically they are not berries. We call mountain goats goats even though scientifically they're not goats. We call orcas killer whales even though they're not truly whales.

There's a difference between science and conventional language. It's just easier to call something by what we know than constantly inventing new words to account for every single nuance

@TinyViolins This morning the sky here was blue, pink, with a band of aqua on the horizon.

@KlonB Truth doesn't really matter though, there's a lot that I can go into this but if truth mattered to you, you'd recognize the validity of inter sex people which happens at birth verifiable and then things get WAY complicated when you put in genetics and chromosomes in the mix but also neuroscience as well, to add that to a complicated subject that is biology and gender identity as well as a mix of sociology and culture.

Do you even want me to start on those? I could write a four page comment based off it if you like, I mean you do care for truth and not for right winged anti trans politics right 😏😏 hehe.. I know the answer.
