Byron8by7 · M
@Grateful4you I lived in North Dakota from 1998 to 2017. There, it's, "Breakfast, dinner, and supper." Like in my native Iowa.
@Byron8by7 I lived in a little insignificant town called "Grafton" Our choice for a night out was either the bars or bingo.
Byron8by7 · M
@Grateful4you I lived in Minot, a fair amount of things to do locally.

Southern accent
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Southern with a touch of Midlands, English; I think. With occasional touches of Northern English dialect.

(There is a very big difference in accent over only 200 or so miles, and a Midlander would recognise me as not local.)
Some say it's East Texan.
i don't know 🤠
Byron8by7 · M
Midwestern Nasal Twang. Native of Iowa, lived in North Dakota for 19 years; now living in Wisconsin since 2017.
bugeye · 26-30, F
it's a hodgepodge of a few scottish regional accents with hints of my north US parents accent.
I don't think I have one. Basically whatever accent someone has on pretty much any sitcom.
Riverman2 · 56-60, M
Combo of Michigander and Southerner. Probably makes no sense to anyone. Glad yall cant here me.

I say it's other people with an accent and that's why they claim I have one!

Neutral. We don't really have accents along the West Coast. Says the white West Coast guy.
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
I'm pretty accent-neutral I think. My southern slips out when I'm tired though. XD
Pinoy/American/sometimes Spanish as my husband have pointed out

An indian one lol.
ABCDEF7 · M
@Beatbox34 Which one? there are more than 19,500 languages or dialects in India.

https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/news/variety/india-is-home-to-more-than-19500-mother-tongues/article24305725.ece
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@ABCDEF7 I'm unsure dude. But it ain't like apoo from the Simpsons.
ABCDEF7 · M
@Beatbox34 It's not voice of a real Indian. Hank Azaria has apologised for voicing the Indian character Apu on The Simpsons.

Hank - who's white - Speaking on Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert podcast, the actor said: "Just because there were good intentions it doesn't mean there weren't real negative consequences to the thing that I am accountable for."

He then apologised to the podcast's co-host, Monica Padman, who's Indian-American.
"I really do apologise. I know you weren't asking for that but it's important. I apologise for my part in creating that and participating in that. Part of me feels I need to go round to every single Indian person in this country and apologise."
