No.
I take that position because relationships are about trust.
If you go snooping through their e-Mail’s that’s an abuse of trust.

@Picklebobble2 I was unaware of that law.
Picklebobble2 · 61-69, M
@Nimbus It’s illegal in both America and the U.K.
Sheer · F
@Picklebobble2 This is all correct in my opinion.
TexChik · F
Nope ! It’s not . I only look if he asks me to . I don’t touch his phone either . Love and respect also extends to his privacy .
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
If you don’t trust your SO enough that you have to invade their privacy (giving them a damn good reason not to trust you) then you have no business being with them.
BalmyNites · F
Never, never ever
Nimbus · M
@BalmyNites How's that?
BalmyNites · F
@Nimbus I just couldn’t do it, I couldn’t do anything like that it’s so private. I would not ever read someone’s emails, nor look in their phone, it’s against everything I believe in ❤️

Your 'freind' is not trustworthy.

No way
Not cool

If you’re suspicious to that point, either something IS going on or YOU are not ready for a relationship. I refuse to live like that. If I was worried about that - I’d end it

Nope. Unless you are helping them with something on their pc or phone and you see an email or 2 by accident.

Aren’t you just looking for an excuse to get your feelings hurt ? And it means you don’t trust the other person .. I’m guilty of doing that though lol
Nimbus · M
@SW-User There is that aspect to it.

SW-User
Nope, I ain't their keeper or parent, they are damn adult. If I am suspicioning something, I either don't trust or am paranoid.
AbbeyRhode · F
No. It demonstrates no trust or respect. Without either, there is no relationship.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode Good point.
Trippin · F
Kinda points towards no trust... No trust means no...partner.

Do you have reasons not to trust her
Dlrannie · 36-40, F
It would be interesting to snoop on yours 😂😂😂
My email is mine, but my hubby, kids and even in laws use it and goes through it looking for something they signed up for. It totally doesn’t bother me at all.
It’s just an email.

@Darksideinthenight2 I don't even care about my privacy when I'm in love nothing is private to me.
You and I have chatted lots. And I wouldn't care if he had my password and looked at everything.

No, bad idea... If you don't trust them, then that's what you've got to work out.
4meAndyou · F
Nope. Most people keep their email on their cell phones, so that level of snooping involves picking up their phone and rifling through it.
I used to share a computer with the 3rd ex, and got quite a surprise when I opened it up and found all his teenage porn girls opening their legs at me. I mentioned it to him, and suddenly found out that he wanted to be the ADMIN on our shared computer, and I was locked out of anything he was viewing.
But he had no such qualms, and used to rifle through my bag, and searched my car and removed my duplicate house keys.

For me, I have nothing to hide, so why would I be worried about it?

Snooping is probably a bad idea. But my husband & I have always had an open phone policy without it being discussed. It’s natural for us to use each other’s phones when we let our own die. Answer texts, calls, emails or messages for the other person. It’s not even given any thought. There’s nothing to hide so nothing to look for but also no privacy to be worried about breaching. It likely varies couple to couple I’ve definitely seen people cringe when someone has their phone on their hand. They seem anxious that they’ll stumble upon something on there I guess. But I think if someone is going to snoop they need to be prepared for the consequences. Finding out things they may not want to know for example, finding nothing suspicious & hurting their partner for another.

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Good point.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
If you are having your suspicions then you should probably ask your SO what’s going on.
