No. Because I don't drink tea
Nimbus · M
@hannahd Wow, really?
hannahd · 51-55, F
@Nimbus really - i'm a coffee girl

ArtieKat · M
Quite a few teapots but this is my favourite tea service:

. Favourite brew of the last few years is 2 parts of English Breakfast tea to one part Lapsang Souchong.
Moonpenny · F
@ArtieKat 🧐
ArtieKat · M
@Moonpenny OK so you've seen the picture before! 😁
Moonpenny · F
I do but only when I have friends who prefer a teapot brew. I just do mine in the mug.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
Several.... Most are decorative though
sassypants · 36-40, F
Yes one that is hardly used
I can’t drink tea.. my pinky finger won’t stick out
Nimbus · M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I hope that doesn't spread to other areas ;)
EmilyEdith · 56-60, F

@SW-User Oh yummy!!! I'd love some crumpets and tea with you...thank you, Nuno!!!! 😍
Sweetthing · F
Yes, love my teapot. It is the best when I am at home and have a morning of tea and reading the paper to enjoy
Nimbus · M
@Sweetthing Yay!

Best thing in the world...nearly ;)
Sweetthing · F
It’s up there for sure....🙂
I own a cup and a microwave - thats all I need.
Nimbus · M
@MarmeeMarch Oh dearie me, one should aim for at least 8 cups per day for good health.
@Nimbus I drink Iced tea -does that count ?
Nimbus · M
@MarmeeMarch Interesting concept.

I will have to research that.
AbbeyRhode · F
Sadly, no, I am missing a teapot in my life.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode I will do what I can for you ;)
AbbeyRhode · F
@Nimbus ☺️
xixgun · M
@Nimbus Send her a brown betty
MartinII · 70-79, M
I couldn’t be without one. Only way to make a proper cup of tea.
Nimbus · M
@MartinII Indeed.

Teapot owners of the world unite!
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Yes - I own 2 - one for delicate Chinese teas and another for good old British builders tea 🙂🙂
Nimbus · M
@Nyloncapes Unfair question as they are different but both as good as each other :)

You?
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus digestives, chocolate , ginger nuts, custard creams, and jammie Dodgers lol
Nimbus · M
@Nyloncapes Delicious :)

I tried 'Oaties' but ended up fishing the contents out with a spoon :)
EmilyEdith · 56-60, F
I certainly do. I run a business from my home, so the pot is always on.
Nimbus · M
@EmilyEdith Wow, you're half way to being English :)
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus we çan only educate them so much but class we can not lol
EmilyEdith · 56-60, F
We also have rain.
So more than halfway.@Nimbus
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
No I don't. ...but I do drink tea, not coffee.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus When I was in high school I had two different classes with the same teacher and she always kept a percolator of coffee going, drank it all day. I didn’t like the flavor of coffee but smelling it perk made my mouth water. I didn’t start drinking it until after I got married and we got a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti It's an acquired taste I haven't acquired :)
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus At least tea has some good benefits, like when you get sick and feel like you are gonna lose your voice a couple cups of hot tea with honey and your voice magically comes back. That happened to the boy when the flu was going around and half his class stayed home, gave him 2 cups of tea after he got home and he never got sick with the flu.
Yes but for a decorative purpose
Nimbus · M
@Dewms Cute :)
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
Ridiculous Question! 🇬🇧
Nimbus · M
@Harriet03 Of course, I know you are in the family ;)
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Nimbus Indeed
BlueRain · F
At home and at work.
Nimbus · M
@BlueRain Good to hear.
Enjoy :)
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
No not now my mum did and tea strainer with it would not use nothing else, tea bags for me
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus yes served on a cake stand, you need cup and saucer with that , not a big mug lol 😀
Nimbus · M
@Nyloncapes Exactly but I am sadly lacking a Butler to go with it :)
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus when me and family members go horse racing at Windsor , they have the old fashioned tea shops there we go in with proper tea and cake stands with cakes and scones and jam it is expensive but worth it, Windsor is a beautiful place and bit old-fashioned but lovely
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
I do indeed.. several.. but mostly only the one cup ones with a matching cup.. I used to have several and I loved them to bits.. I even thought about collecting teapots for a while there...
Nimbus · M
@Adaydreambeliever To think how our Victorian counterparts treasured them and now most of us treat them with disdain, it's shocking!
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@Nimbus Indeed, a valuable and essential part of our culture has gone by the wayside!
SW-User
We don't use that thing
Nimbus · M
@SW-User I haven't but am adventurous enough to try ;)
SW-User
@Nimbus I don't expect it would be better than fresh tea though
Nimbus · M
@SW-User I anticipate that.
SW-User
No. I don't like tea. I do own a kettle, but it's for looks.
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Oh no, can't be doing with that thing.
SW-User
@Nimbus more for me!😉
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Enjoy.
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
I do know a girl with a honey pot!
(I’m sorry that’s a childish joke but I know someone is giggling at it!)
Nimbus · M
@luctoretemergo Not quite what I had in mind but appreciated nonetheless :)
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
Sorry...I'll behave....
Nimbus · M
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Yep. I am using it as a piggy bank. Hopefully it'll save up enough money to buy a coffee machine.
Nimbus · M
@Thevy29 lolol,
I admire your inventiveness.
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
No, I make my tea in a watering can like everybody else.
Nimbus · M
@Bewilderbeeste That is very native.
Bewilderbeeste · 61-69, M
@Nimbus And very sarcastic in a very native English way.
Nimbus · M
@Bewilderbeeste Sarcasm is a seven letter word that few understand completely.
Yep. Melitta or French press coffee is good. I also like tea now and then.
Nimbus · M
@lovelywarpedlemon Good to hear :)
@Nimbus What's your favorite tea?
Shayla · F
Yes. My son loves playing with it at the mud park.
Nimbus · M
@Shayla Interesting alternative use!
Shayla · F
@Nimbus Thanks. I bought it from a thrift store to encourage his sensory play.
Nimbus · M
@Shayla 👍️ 🆒
SW-User

Nimbus · M
@EugenieLaBorgia 😛

There's a saying in there somewhere :)
UckfayOuyayOotay · 46-50, M
Not as such, but I do have an electric kettle I use for the purpose, lol
Nimbus · M
@UckfayOuyayOotay That is a means to aid the procedure for oral stimulation.
Paulena · 70-79, M
An electric one for warming water and a silver one for serving.
Nimbus · M
@Paulena Oh, classy!
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
Use tea bags for quickness especially in morning before work,
Nimbus · M
@Nyloncapes Just a part of the routine to get out of the house within ten minutes :)
TexChik · F
Short and stout!
TexChik · F
@Nimbus I'm a little teapot
Short and stout
Here is my handle
Here is my spout
When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout
"Tip me over
And pour me out!"
Nimbus · M
@TexChik Awww, I remember that :)
TexChik · F
@Nimbus 😉
JustNik · 51-55, F
I have a regular kettle and an electric diffusing kettle.
Nimbus · M
@JustNik Oh yea, classy.
xixgun · M
2 and an electric kettle
xixgun · M
@Nimbus My wife has a couple. I drink coffee in a cup that has never been washed (because it's never empty long enough to do so)
Nimbus · M
@xixgun lol, plus the stains add to the flavour?
xixgun · M
@Nimbus Don’t know, I’ve never seen the bottom of the cup
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I own several. Comes in handy for making tea.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti I fully expected that of you Patti :)
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus I made Earl Grey last night, shouldn’t be drinking tea at 9 p.m., interferes with sleep.
SW-User
Of course,I'm British..
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Good!
Would you join the SW Teapot Group? :)
SW-User

DaySpider · 22-25, F

Nimbus · M
@DaySpider Size has nothing to do with it 😁
DaySpider · 22-25, F
@Nimbus Yes it does. A bigger teapot = more tea
Nimbus · M
@DaySpider 😁
SW-User
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Yay!
