Quite a few teapots but this is my favourite tea service:

. Favourite brew of the last few years is 2 parts of English Breakfast tea to one part Lapsang Souchong.

Many!! Coz I love tea, and I love treating myself to a nice afternoon tea ever so often.

@Vivaci I have afternoon tea every afternoon 3pm... Pop over if you fancy a cuppa
@SW-User Oh yummy!!! I'd love some crumpets and tea with you...thank you, Nuno!!!! 😍
MarmeeMarch · M
I own a cup and a microwave - thats all I need.
Nimbus · M
@MarmeeMarch Oh dearie me, one should aim for at least 8 cups per day for good health.
MarmeeMarch · M
@Nimbus I drink Iced tea -does that count ?
Nimbus · M
Sweetthing · F
Yes, love my teapot. It is the best when I am at home and have a morning of tea and reading the paper to enjoy
Nimbus · M
Sweetthing · F
It’s up there for sure....🙂
MartinII · 70-79, M
I couldn’t be without one. Only way to make a proper cup of tea.
EmilyEdith · 56-60, F
I certainly do. I run a business from my home, so the pot is always on.
Nimbus · M
@EmilyEdith Wow, you're half way to being English :)

pennynoodles · 56-60, F
No I don't. ...but I do drink tea, not coffee.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus When I was in high school I had two different classes with the same teacher and she always kept a percolator of coffee going, drank it all day. I didn’t like the flavor of coffee but smelling it perk made my mouth water. I didn’t start drinking it until after I got married and we got a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti It's an acquired taste I haven't acquired :)
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus At least tea has some good benefits, like when you get sick and feel like you are gonna lose your voice a couple cups of hot tea with honey and your voice magically comes back. That happened to the boy when the flu was going around and half his class stayed home, gave him 2 cups of tea after he got home and he never got sick with the flu.
4meAndyou · F
Yes. This is it. I have a matching coffee pot, and demitasse cups.

Yes but for a decorative purpose
BlueRain · 51-55, F
At home and at work.
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
I do indeed.. several.. but mostly only the one cup ones with a matching cup.. I used to have several and I loved them to bits.. I even thought about collecting teapots for a while there...
Nimbus · M
@Adaydreambeliever To think how our Victorian counterparts treasured them and now most of us treat them with disdain, it's shocking!
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@Nimbus Indeed, a valuable and essential part of our culture has gone by the wayside!
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
No not now my mum did and tea strainer with it would not use nothing else, tea bags for me
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus yes served on a cake stand, you need cup and saucer with that , not a big mug lol 😀
Nimbus · M
@Nyloncapes Exactly but I am sadly lacking a Butler to go with it :)
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@Nimbus when me and family members go horse racing at Windsor , they have the old fashioned tea shops there we go in with proper tea and cake stands with cakes and scones and jam it is expensive but worth it, Windsor is a beautiful place and bit old-fashioned but lovely

SW-User
We don't use that thing
Nimbus · M
@SW-User I haven't but am adventurous enough to try ;)

SW-User
@Nimbus I don't expect it would be better than fresh tea though
Nimbus · M
@SW-User I anticipate that.

SW-User
No. I don't like tea. I do own a kettle, but it's for looks.
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Oh no, can't be doing with that thing.

SW-User
@Nimbus more for me!😉
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Enjoy.
Yep. Melitta or French press coffee is good. I also like tea now and then.
Nimbus · M
@lovelywarpedlemon Good to hear :)
@Nimbus What's your favorite tea?
Bewilderbeeste · 70-79, M
No, I make my tea in a watering can like everybody else.
Nimbus · M
@Bewilderbeeste That is very native.
Bewilderbeeste · 70-79, M
@Nimbus And very sarcastic in a very native English way.
Nimbus · M
@Bewilderbeeste Sarcasm is a seven letter word that few understand completely.
EugenieLaBorgia · F
I did! It was a chocolate one. I thought it would match with my chocolate fireguard.
Nimbus · M
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Yep. I am using it as a piggy bank. Hopefully it'll save up enough money to buy a coffee machine.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I own several. Comes in handy for making tea.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti I fully expected that of you Patti :)
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nimbus I made Earl Grey last night, shouldn’t be drinking tea at 9 p.m., interferes with sleep.
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
I do know a girl with a honey pot!
(I’m sorry that’s a childish joke but I know someone is giggling at it!)
